Keep in touch with your team. Send out a weekly newsletter to your entire team. Avoid, not having contact with your team even if many are inactive. You never know when someone will be motivated to come back.
When someone in your team asks you a question, answer it within 24 hrs or sooner. Avoid waiting longer than a day to answer. Even if you don’t know the answer, at least let the team member know right away that you are doing research to find the answer.
Avoid being judgmental. If you are asked for help, refrain from responding that they would know the answer if they read and studied the training material. That’s not helpful! Be nice!
You are a team leader – a sponsor. You are not their boss so avoid acting like one.
