The best formula is to include these parts:
1. Welcome to the new member.
2. About your sponsor, this is your background and any success story you have. Keep it short but informative so the affiliate feels like they are getting to know you.
3. Brief overview of where to start and goals to aspire to such as earning 500VP to obtain Fast Track Status.
4. Training and tools you offer such as your newsletter or training blog.
5. A humble thanks for joining.
6. Your real name and contact details so they can get to know you outside SFI and reach you even if you aren't logged in here at the SFI website. My advice is get Skype and set up a group chat there for affiliate support and to work with your movers closely. It really helps with motivation and team spirit.
Don't provide a ton of hype or try to make a sale in this first contact but be informative and answer that the important first questions.
Who is my sponsor?
Where do I start?
Is there a minimum I should do?
Are people making it in this business?
I won't write your welcome message for you because then it would be my words and not yours and the welcome needs to come from you and you need to know it well so you can follow up with the workers and know what you've already covered.
