Marketing campaigns come in 2 designs: one design focuses on what you have to offer, the other design is based on why you offer a product or service.
These two designs are useful but are used for different reasons for different results.
The first design is primarily focused on what is being offered. If you focus on this "product or service" you will more than likely need to consider "who your target audience is. When there is a focus on the "what" you offer there is simply just a purchase made by customers.
The second design for marketing is the "why" you offer a service or product. This appeals to the emotional part of the purchase and therefore creates a connection to the buyer more than simply making a purchase.
A marketing design will simply be an outward expression of what you wish to achieve. Both are effective ways to sell so you need to consider what your personal purpose to marketing is.
