The frequency of communication is directly proportional to the quality of communication itself.
If you contact your upline and never get a response, get a delayed or a response not meeting your requirements, I guess you give up sooner.
Communication is mutual, not a one way traffic. Also don't expect to be ever on the receiving end - you have lots of ideas to share with your sponsor so he/she will grow more.
Sometimes there is a lot to discuss, you could even go to chatting and video conferencing. Sometimes there is little to say for the moment and you could take a whole week.
I and my sponsor joined SFI in the same month and year. He lives the US and I live in East Africa. We exchange ideas, discoveries, insights and even do research together to find out what works better and what doesn't.
When a particular system fails to work for me, as a matter of fact, I let my Sponsor know as a warning lest he fall victim too. Of course I train my downline accordingly.
