I am half way through my first year in SFI. There are so many things I have learnt, but nothing among them can be labelled as not valuable.
My motive to join SFI may greatly differ from that of most who are with SFI. Being in my late sixties all I was looking out for some nice past-time to spend and if that the time is spent gainfully then why not? It was in one of these searches, I stumbled on SFI’s splash page and signed up.
I took almost a month reading everything SFI had to offer. When I got convinced of SFI’s real worth, I decided to stick around and get along.
I can not say honestly that earning more money through SFI was my prime motive. Sine I am in that phase of life where being of help to others is the main concern, there were a couple of people to whom I have been associated, who are tragically confined to wheel chairs, but have a PC as company came to my mind. ‘This is for them’ I thought! But then,I have to succeed before their induction to SFI, so I continued.
What a great humanity I found in SFI community! People of all age groups, from diverse cultures, from different countries all meet everyday doing their tasks and helping other affiliates to succeed, no matter to which team they belong to, under whose sponsorship they are groomed.
If I log in to SFI everyday. It is because I want to meet all these great people who I meet through their words.
The lesson of ’How well the bond of human love can be exhibited by our actions’ even to those whom we have not even met is the most valuable thing that I have learnt in SFI
