The most valuable thing I learned in my first year in SFI is that SFI is a real business and should be treated as such. This means that:
- I should constantly TRAIN to stay up-to-date with the latest (read both from SFI free resources and from anywhere that is relevant)
- I should constantly ADVERTISE to make potential customers aware of what I offer, both as an SFI Affiliate (through my gateway, to build a team) and as an ECA
- I should constantly CHECK IN to ensure my team and my customers know that I am available. This means following my to-do list, sending messages to my team and my a2a mates, 'opening' my ECA store (checking orders, refreshing items on offer, sending customers a regular newsletter).
