The expectations of becoming a team leader come from yourself. What sort of a leader do you want to be?
Do you want to be a positive, constructive, dynamic, creative and effective leader?
When you look at it, leadership looks so easy. Only you knows your skills and abilities.

So as a team leader in SFI, you provide guidance to your team, to give them direction when they seem lost in doing the daily tasks; support when they need it, and understanding, friendship and empathy. And most of all when you lead, you lead not necessarily in the front (for others will overtake you!), but walk behind them, and cause hem to take effective action.
In Bill Newman's book, "The Ten Laws of Leadership," it says simply: "A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way."
