What successful leaders In SFI or any other business know and do is what determines the success of their business. For a successful business:
1.They have to have a clear, concise goal to achieve their mission (what they want to accomplish) and vision (where they want to go) and a plan to measure their progress.
2.They read everything they can to learn as much as possible and have the ability to teach what they have learned to their team.
3.They build a strong team that works together to make the business succeed. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses, but when you have a team that works together they can overcome any weaknesses.
4.They need to have, or develop, strong communication skills. You will need them to ensure other members of the team know exactly what the goal is, what is expected of them and how to complete any necessary tasks.
5.They need to be approachable, likeable and comfortable in their position. The team needs to be able to relate to the leader and believe he is really concerned about them.
6.They need to have the right attitude-be positive, honest about everything, self-assured and motivating. Their team needs to see a can do attitude in order to believe things can be done.
7.They need to show their ambition. If you want your team to work hard you must be willing to work harder. They will follow your example.
8.All people at times need someone to look up to for direction, guidance, inspiration and motivation. The team leader needs to be that someone in order for the business to be a great success.
Hope this help a little bit.
Good luck with everything you do.
