As far as my knowledge is concerned, Leaders are not born but they are made and they are made just like anything else through hard work and determination. Even in SFI, a Leader can be successful only when his or her Team becomes successful otherwise no leader can claim success without his team mates’ success.
A leader should lead the way and become a role model for his/her own team mates not only with his words but also with his deeds. A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way to his team members that is what I do believe and follow always. Even in SFI, before we preach others to take actions, the Team Leader should show them the way with all proper guidance.
In short, a leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled and they will say we did it ourselves and Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower.
