Great Question, I have read a ton of these answers and their all great but nobody mentioned the biggest Key.. You need to make people feel like they are a part of something.. A real part of the team. Even your least experienced can surprise you with a great idea or some great input to one of YOUR ideas.. Plus its just human nature to want to be a part of something. Giving incentives is all and good but that in my opinion is not enough to get you the "team spirit" mentality your talking about. You want your members to feel like they have a say. To feel as though they are invaluable each in their own way. Praise their strengths and help them with their weaknesses and they will love you for it.. They will become loyal to the team and loyal to you the leader.. but you have to put the team and its members FIRST, ahead of yourself... The true spirit of Sfi.. And it just so happens with SFI.. when they succeed and do better.. SO DO YOU..
