The best way to build a team with true team spirit in SFI is to first step up, learn and develop yourself by becoming a great Leader and Coach to encourage and motivate your group and continue to improve on those skills to increase your value and self worth.
Have fun, keep things simple, follow the basic format that SFI already offers and communicate that to your team and when they realize that you have their genuine interest at heart, they will look for you, get excitied about associating and working with you and will be happy to be a part of the team. Always continue to bring out the best in them.
