That’s what a teams does, working together for the benefit of everyone in the team. So how do we do it?
It must start with the team leader. The team leader must lead by example. The leader must INSPIRE the team to achieve new heights. They must set the standard that they want the team to follow and duplicate.
Your badges are a great example of the work YOU are doing so don’t expect your team to do things you won’t, so as I said before lead by example.
Get the team excited. Competitions are a good way to get your team motivated. Give a reward for goals achieved, no matter how big or small. After all every small goal met is a step towards achieving the next goal.
Send out a weekly newsletter to everyone in your team. You could include tips for new people, recognition of goals or levels met, ideas for building your SFI business, the list is endless of what you can put in a newsletter. It does not have to be perfect but it must be informative and on a very regular basis. Ask for feedback from your team. Get ideas from people in your team on what works for them in building their business and share it in future newsletters with the rest of the team.
You have to encourage feedback and get the communication going two ways ( the ones who give you feedback on a regular basis are likely to be your active affiliates so you know who to work with)
Once the communication starts to flow back and forth ask for their ideas and opinions, get tips on what works for them and share it with the rest of the team (if you are given permission to do so)
It may take time to get your team actively involved as a community but if you are consistent with all your communications it will happen. It will start as a trickle and gradually become a flood as you earn peoples trust.
