I will tell you what has worked for me and my PSA's.
The plan for the first month is to learn everything they can about the business. They can do this by reading the launch pad lessons and all the items on the to do list. I tell my PSA's to get on the fast track so half the VPs needed to become an EA are completed in the first day with SFI. For my PSAs that can't afford to set a standing order or choose not to set a standing order in the first month I let them know it is okay for now but in order to advance in rank and become a TL (team leader), a standing order of 1500 VPs is the easiest way to do it. I also let my team know early that vps are harder to come by after the first month. I am totally honest with them about the second month, third month, and beyond. They will have to invest either time or money if not both. For thoes that don't have a lot of time I suggest the 1500vp standing order. For the ones that are not able to do a standing order right away I direct them to the free advertising and sponsoring pages.
I also encourage them to stay focused and to not leave money on the table. They must check their home page daily and do the items on their to do list everyday.
Also, in the plan for the second and third month is letting them know about tripleclicks, the penny auctions, and ECA and how to advertise them.
So in a nutshell, month one should be read and learn, read and learn, and read and learn some more. Months two and three should be start investing whether it be time or money if not both. Then from then on they should be advertising, sponsoring, and talking up all that this business has to offer.
Hopefully, this helps you as much as it has for me.
