In order to be successful in this business you have to invest something. Since you don't have time start with a small investment in a standing order for 1500 vps to make EA every month. Then get in on S-Builder to help with duplication. At some point you will need to support your down line and that can be done once a week or as needed to answer their questions.
What is the best plan to give your new PSAs to help them get started...from day one through their third month in SFI?

I will tell you what has worked for me and my PSA's.
The plan for the first month is to learn everything they can about the business. They can do this by reading the launch pad lessons and all the items on the to do list. I tell my PSA's to get on the fast track so half the VPs needed to become an EA are completed in the first day with SFI. For my PSAs that can't afford to set a standing order or choose not to set a standing order in the first month I let them know it is okay for now but in order to advance in rank and become a TL (team leader), a standing order of 1500 VPs is the easiest way to do it. I also let my team know early that vps are harder to come by after the first month. I am totally honest with them about the second month, third month, and beyond. They will have to invest either time or money if not both. For thoes that don't have a lot of time I suggest the 1500vp standing order. For the ones that are not able to do a standing order right away I direct them to the free advertising and sponsoring pages.
I also encourage them to stay focused and to not leave money on the table. They must check their home page daily and do the items on their to do list everyday.
Also, in the plan for the second and third month is letting them know about tripleclicks, the penny auctions, and ECA and how to advertise them.
So in a nutshell, month one should be read and learn, read and learn, and read and learn some more. Months two and three should be start investing whether it be time or money if not both. Then from then on they should be advertising, sponsoring, and talking up all that this business has to offer.
Hopefully, this helps you as much as it has for me.

A2A is helpful to affiliates in a number of ways. The main reason is that you have access to your a2a friends for questions. They are available when your sponsors are not. You can also find a2a friends in your local area to pool together and do advertising, meetings and or co-ops. A2A gives you access to hundreds and thousands of people that you wouldn't know or be able to talk to for ideas and networking.
How do you become a superstar in SFI?

To become a superstar in SFI should be the goal of all affiliates. However, to answer the question you must use the three "P's". PATIENCE, PERSISTENCE, and POSITIVE Attitude.
There are a lot of people that sign up for this business, but they don't stick around long enough to reach superstar status. Take your time and learn everything you can about SFI then apply what you learned. Learn the basics, get the word out, and stay focused.
It is always easy to start something, but hard to keep it going. Set goals for yourself so you can see your progress. Stay focused even when you haven't made a profit.
Rise in rank by doing the basics, build your team by leading as an example, and become a superstar by staying the course.
Superstar status doesn't happen overnight, and it won't fall in your lap.
So work hard get the word out and stick around to see the fruits of your labor.

What are the best SFI marketing tools to use with young persons who may be unemployed or under-employed?

The best marketing tools for this population in my opinion are the E-Cards, they are free and you can send up to ten a day.
The next best marketing tool is word of mouth, just talking to friends and family. Both of these options are totally free.
The third best tool is the tab Flyers.(3rd only because there's a small cost involved)
They can print them with their SFI ID#, then post them at libraries, stores, schools, and other public places.
I hope this helps.

Participation in Ask SC is just another way for you to learn about the business. It also gives you an opportunity to pool the experience and expertise from all the affiliates around the world, which you would not have access to if you did not have Ask SC or the forum.
Basically, the more you learn about SFI the more successful you will be.
I hope this answer helps.

Setting goals are important for three reasons. The first is that goals help you track your progress. The second reason goals are important is that they help you keep the momentum going because they give you something to work for. Then, lastly goals are important because they give you milestones, once you have accomplished one it makes you want to keep going, this builds moral.
When working on your business it is important to stay focused goals help you do that.
