I think the most important thing to do to grow as a leader is to read and learn as much as possible. There is a lot of information on this site. Then there's the IAHBE site, which is LOADED with information. If I'm looking for information on a specific subject, I look in the TC store to find cheap ebooks. Most of the time I buy them with a TCredit or MRP. There is so much information out there, and there is always more to learn. This is more about becoming knowledgeable for my own business than being a leader, per se. However, to be a successful leader, you have to know your business.
One of the most important aspects of being a leader is communicating to your team. They need to know what is expected of them, and you have to show them how to achieve those goals. You need to lead by example, and communicate any time they need help.
Good communication will lead to duplication. When your team starts duplicating your success, it is good to reward them. Even small incentives are great motivators.
Finally, I think it's important to be persistent in everything we do here. It's important to come here every day, lead by example, and show our team that we are serious about the business we are building together. You can't lead your team unless you are going somewhere.
