There are Three things that I personally does to ensure my steady growth as a Team Leader.
1. I continuously recruit affiliates. - This gives me broader and horizontal foundation. We do not only need our new affiliates for horizontal growth but we also need constant replenishment of new affiliates because even our most active affiliates may stop somewhere for some reason.
2. I continuously do duplication from among my affiliates - This gives me deeper vertical foundation. Helping, communicating and mentoring are the things that I do most of the time.
3. I am exploring and studying tools both from SFI website and outside of SFI. I use this both for recruiting and mentoring. Example of the topics I studied are:
a. How to find potential affiliates in Face Book and twitter.
b. How to make blog and draw potential affiliates from it.
c. How take the route of growth via Auction in PriceBenders.
d. How to turn spam email you received to a potential affiliates.
e. How to use relational marketing.
I am sharing all my researches and my studies to my affiliates when I get results as part of coaching.
I would summarize my task as leader as Learning Knowledge and passing on my knowledge to my affiliates while gathering more people whom I pass on my knowledge. By doing this for the last 9 months I am now become the top affiliate in my country.
