Not many things are overrated, everything we've been taught to do on a day to day basis is a useful productive piece of work, you have to invest the time in many aspect of the business so you understand how it works and are able to explain it should you be asked question by your downline. I'm a quite an early stage in my time with SFI and whilst I find the t-credits from the t-time contest very useful for maintaining my EA2 level, I'm sure the amount of time I spend re-entering each house is probably dis-proportionate with the actual reward received, certainly as I progress, that will be one of the first things to go, I'll leave it for the newbys.
As for underrated, I'd have to say that we all need to learn how to encourage more people to use SFI and triple clicks, the only real way to gain stability as a BTL or above is to have working PSAs, to get higher than BTL you need sales as well, you cannot expect to get anything out of a business which does not have customers, we need to build that customer base.
