Hello, Doreen. I'm glad you asked this question. I have read many answers to this and find that I may agree with some answers but definitely do not agree with some as well. I will give you my opinion and an example of how we overrate or underrate things.
I believe there is nothing overrated or underrated by SFI. I believe that overrating and underrating items has much to do with your attitude towards what is written and done at SFI. It seems to me that everything that is here is really great and none of us should overrate or underrate any activity or function. I believe, however, that not all affiliates are skilled to do certain activities in one way but may be gifted in another. However the work gets done and the imagination one uses really helps. The following is an example of how we overrate or underrate things.
When you read your Bible, you will find that there are very interesting parts that are exciting and really have a lot of drama. Then you will find there are the genealogies, ways that sacrifices are to be done in the law, the ways that God commands the priests to do certain activities, the foods that are "clean" and "unclean" and much more. Some people think that genealogies and those Old Testament laws are not important when, in fact, they are very important. The reason is that the genealogy shows the various lines and the one from which Christ came. The sacrificial regulations are a shadow of the things to come, and so is the tabernacle and the temple. I'm using this as an example, because many people underrate or overrate what is written, when in fact, the entire Bible comes to life when you know Him and what He has done and He lives within you.
So, in SFI, every activity and VersaPoint gained and every affiliate sponsored and every TripleClicks member gained and everything you read teaches you how to work this business and how to relate with your fellow affiliates, your upline and your downline. It's all in your attitude and your perception of SFI that determines what you think is overrated or underrated. We should not do either or think that affiliates do that or that Gery Carson or the Support staff does that either.
