Hi Belinda and thank you for raising this very good question.
First, let me point out the fact that your sponsor or any other member of your upline cannot re-assign any PSA to you unless that PSA has earned at least 600 versapoints in the past 90 days prior to the reassignment. This means that the PSA was active at least at some point in those 90 days.
Now, with that said, more often than not, our sponsor or upline team members will reassign PSAs to their downline as a reward for reaching certain milestones... reaching EA status, fastest growth, etc. Sometimes when they see a team member who is showing exceptional and consistent growth, they will reassign a PSA that maybe only recently went inactive and your sponsor or upline team member feels that, based on your growth and consistency, that you might have just the right approach to being able to reactivate the assigned PSA.
One other thing I would like to point out is when an active PSA is reassigned and then goes inactive after the reassignment and my apologies to those who feel this segment of my answer might be off topic, but I truly do feel that it does apply as well. Sometimes, when PSAs get reassigned, especially when they are active, they might feel that they are being punished for something, like they are not good enough and their sponsor no longer wants to support them. That is why I feel that it is important for sponsors to contact their PSA first to let them know that and why they are being reassigned. In line with this, it is also important for your sponsor or upline team member to contact you to let you know that they are reassigning one or more PSAs to you.
I hope this helps to shed a little more insight on this.
