Having received inactive or re-assigned PSAs would give you the chance to prove to yourself that you have the ability to make him/her active. Your team leadership can be put to a test. Doing so would require more attention on your part. If you are giving 100% of your efforts in your current roster of PSAs, I think you have to give this inactive re-assigned PSAs more than 100% of your building up your team efforts by doing the following:
1.) Send him/her an email first introducing yourself as his/her new sponsor.
2.) Then, send an “SFIM” or “TM” message asking him/her to confide in you the reason for being inactive. Say it in a “warm” manner such that he/she feels a bit comfortable. For instance, say it in this manner:
“Hi! I’m____________, your new sponsor. I consider it as a privilege to have you in my SFI team. I would like all my team members to be at ease when dealing with each other or when dealing with me. In view of this, you can tell me what your problem is in pursuing your SFI-related activities. As you may know, everything that we do in life has some solutions, in one way or the other. No matter how big or small the problem is. If you tell me your problem, I would see to it that I find a solution for you. I don’t guarantee it, but at least I could give you some hints to solve it. Trust me. Use your “SFIM” or “TM” buttons to have a chat with me. You know, I was in the same shoes as you are today. I was about to quit SFI a few months ago due to my day job demands but I decided to remain in SFI by making some little adjustments in my free time schedule. And as I said, whatever your problem is, there is always a solution that you can work on or adopt. Come on, try me!”
