I know that automatic email could be a good and easy thing, however, I believe the value of each email needs to be pertinent to the things that are happening on a day to day basis. For example, each time SFI makes a new announcement is the time to capitolize on that and send an email about it.
Occasionally I send out an email that is generic, but mostly I focus on the events and things that are current. SFI and the daily occurances along with making the email something that your affiliates can associate with from their daily experiences makes tha added effort of time sensitive communication very worth while.
