How can I support and motivate my team members without demanding too much or turning them off?

The key to support and motivating your team members is to help them make money by providing them with the necessary training.
An even better way to motivate them is to help them build their SFI business in depth. When you sponsor someone help them to sponsor two or three people and start working with them.
Conduct weekly training as this will provide helpful information and motivation for your team members.
Recognize both big and small achievements of your team members by congratulating them through e-cards etc.
Organise contests, challenges and incentives for them. These can take the form of gift certificates, T-Credits and reassignments if they recruit their first EA, become a TL, sponsor X number of affiliates in a month etc.
You have to be a good leader in order to motivate them by leading by example and keep the communication lines open to support them.

What are the benefits of using the new AFFILIATE E-Cards...and what are some good ways to use them with my team?

The new Affiliate E-cards are valuable additions to methods of marketing your SFI business and also as marketing aids.
One big benefit is the e-cards are free of charge, located prominently at the affiliate profile snapshot and can be used as a marketing tool. The e-cards come in handy for affiliates who feel uncomfortable in presenting their products to friends or family members. Other affiliates may not know what to say and the e-cards which comes with messages solves the problem. Others may have fears in being rejected and here again the e-cards comes to the rescue. SFI’s e-cards uses friendly language with a little humour added and this makes it ideal to send to family members, friends etc. There may be SFI products and services which are providing good income for you and you can use the e-cards to highlight these products and services with testimonials.
Some of the good ways to use the e-cards with my team are as follows:
Affiliate e-cards can be used to welcome new PSAs, CSAs and second-home CSAs to my team.
E-cards can be used to congratulate new EAs and Team Leaders in my team.
E-cards can be used to congratulate my team members for earning new badges.
They can be used to give recognition to my team members who made it to E365 finals.
E-cards can be used to congratulate my team members who qualify as Fast-Track members.
E-cards can be used for my team members who win Daily Grand prizes.
E-cards can be used for my team members to wish them Happy Birthday and congratulate them on their SFI anniversaries.
E-cards can be used to motivate hardworking members of my team.
You can therefore see from the above how the e-cards can be used as a valuable tool to motivate, build up team work and promote the rapport with your team members.

Activate your “VP Streak Vacation Mode.”This will preserve your VP streak.
Search for wireless hotspots and provide the necessary support to your team. Hotspots can be found at airports, bookstores, coffee shops, department stores, fuel stations, hotels, hospitals, libraries, restaurants, supermarkets, train stations, schools, universities etc.
If you already have a smart phone, you already have a potentially free mobile hotspot at your disposal. Modern Android and iphones come with built-in option to turn your cellular data connection into Wi-Fi.
A Standing Order (SO) saves all the hassle while you are on vacation. Your position at SFI is maintained as long as your SO is active.
There are free iPhone app which lets you communicate without an internet or mobile connection.
Enable Twitter via SMS and re-direct tweets to your phone.

How do we know if our PSAs and CSAs are serious about building a successful SFI business?

It is quite easy to tell if your PSAs and CSAs are serious in building a successful SFI business. A series of actions they do or do not do provides the clue. However they may not get serious at the initial stages but later they go all out to become successful in their SFI business.
They will perform the following series of actions if they are serious:
The starting point is when your affiliates complete the TO-DO-List and Launchpad lessons. You can monitor their progress from their VP Ledger.
The VP Streak is also an indication of their commitment.
Earning a Fast-Track badge shows they are serious.
If they maintain at least EA2 each month shows they are serious in building a successful SFI business.
Their participation in the Forums and ASK SC is a good indicator.
Their rate of sponsoring PSAs and building a team reflects on their commitment.

How far should sponsors go to help their affiliates move forward, is there a point you should not go beyond?

As sponsors we are duty bound to help our affiliates. However, we can set some priorities as to who should receive help first but I don’t think we can afford to create a point beyond which there is “no go” because every affiliate sign-up is an opportunity. So when setting priorities I will consider the following factors:
MOVERS
The movers take top priority. These are the affiliates whom you can depend on to build a solid team and be groomed into team leaders. The movers will help you to build up your SFI business and generate income for you.
FIRST MONTH EAs
It is easy to become EA during first month without investment but subsequently many fade away during the second month because you need to invest a little to qualify for EA2. Such affiliates come under the next priority. They can be advised on how to maintain their EA2 status and the long term benefits.
LOGINS
Look through the genealogy for those affiliates who logged in and collected a few points but did not make any headway. Such affiliates come under the next priority.
INACTIVE AFFILIATES
Inactive affiliates take up the last priority and it’s worth communicating with them because they are still considered as opportunities.

2. Businesses from your own respective countries should be focussed on to maximize ECA recruitment. They are within easy reach, communications is simplified and the personal touch can be added.

Above all else, what is the ONE THING that has made the difference for you in succeeding with SFI?

Full commitment was the prime mover which made the difference for me in succeeding with SFI. With full commitment I believe half the battle is won. Commitment branches out to other aspects which makes SFI business successful.
Some of these branches include goal setting, knowledge of the SFI business, setting priorities to achieve your SFI goals, sponsoring, advertising, sales, training, imparting knowledge to your downline and finally duplication.
With commitment, these branches provide a focus to make the SFI business very successful. Performance can be easily measured and compared with the goals set. Deviations can be identified and corrective action taken.

To promote my SFI business, how do I get listed on Google, Bing, and other popular search engines?

You don’t need to submit your website to search engines because these days submission to search engines happen automatically. However most search engines offer the option to submit your site. If your website has been live on the internet, meaning that it can be accessed if you type the domain name directly into the address bar of the web browser then it is highly likely that it can already be found in Google and Bing.
The Google option to submit your site can be found here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url
There are many SEO companies offering to submit websites to Google and Bing in return for a fee. You are paying for nothing actually.
Search engines charge no fee to be included in their search results. The only reason you need to pay a search engine is to appear in the paid listings sections of the results (pay per click).
Both Google and Bing recommend that you set up Webmaster accounts with them so that they can communicate with you any problems with or recommendations for your website.

What is the benefit of buying an S-Builder Co-op unit vs buying an upline member's co-op unit?

Affiliate since: 05/05/2004, Power Rank: 314
Both S-builder and upline co-op are good investments to bring in a steady stream of PSAs. However each has their own merits the bottom line being they both help to build up your SFI business. I think it’s a good idea if funds permit to invest equal amounts in both and compare the results.
S-BUILDER
The main advantage of the S-builder is it is one of the popular standing orders with sales and action VPs attached. You also get a badge for it. Unlimited shares can be bought. You also can motivate your deserving PSAs by giving them a gift certificate to purchase a share of S-builder. The S-builder being a direct product of SFI it is a trustworthy source. At a cost of $22 the S-builder is value for money and an economical way to build your SFI business.
UPLINE MEMBER’S CO-OP
The upline member’s co-op is a very much more powerful form of advertising than the S-builder. When several of your team members share the cost of advertising, it allows team members to pool your dollars together to advertise and share in the leads generated. The real power of co-op results in tremendous benefits to the co-op leader because he builds a strong team. The co-op leader not only earns from his team members but also from every new affiliate the co-op attracts. The SFI Co-op Manager provides an user friendly platform and all you have to do is to plug in your co-op participants and collect payments.
