Anytime that I get discouraged and think about quitting – I ask myself one question: Do I ever want to feel the way I did the day I went looking for on on-line job (the day I found SFI)? I had recently been laid-off from a long term career and never dreamed that I would ever leave the job unless I decided to. I love working on the computer and figured an on-line job would give me the ability to make enough money to stay home and work, or at least give me a job while I was looking for another traditional job. NO, I never want to feel that way again, my fate should be in my hands, not the hands of someone else, so I must make this work.
I had very little knowledge of on-line marketing, and about three month after I started with SFI, I had read all the training material but was still not sure that all the work I was putting in was worth the little amount of income I was getting in return, but I did feel that it was because I just wasn’t getting the true hang of everything I needed to be doing. I thought about what the things were so far that had benefited me the most, and realized that the best information I had received, had come from things I had read on other associates “Best Tip” pages, or stream post. So, the day I was the most discouraged, I sat down with a notebook to take notes, and started going through all my Upline and A2A friends Best Tips, and then read all their stream post – I went back and read well over a years worth of post(yes, you can see stream post from earlier than when you started). The next day I began applying the new tips I had found, within only a week I began to see the amount of PSA sign-ups I received to begin to exponentially multiply, and so far about 16% of those are still active.
“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten, and you’ll always feel the way you’ve always felt”. The first part of this quote is by Anthony Robbins and I’m not sure who added the last piece – but it is so true.
What keeps me going forward:
Never again will I let someone make me feel the way I did that day I was laid-off, my fate is in my hands, and I will succeed, I will be the boss of my destiny.
Thinking of quitting - then think about what brought you to SFI in the first place, not advancing like you would like to, then search for information/knowledge/support in a new place.
Best Wishes
