I have almost given up too.
Sometimes, I just get tired of everything and think to myself, why am I doing this?
I do everything possible to get my downline active, giving gift certificates, T-Credits and words of encouragement which fall on deaf ears.
It can be all very frustrating!
I read motivational quotes and articles which give me the encouragement and motivation to continue and also the belief that I will find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, maybe not tomorrow but one day in the near future.
I still log in everyday because this keeps me in the right frame of mind to be successful and continue with the program no matter how many disappointments I face.
I want to leave my full-time night shift job more than anything in the world because it's slowly killing me and this is certainly a motivation to continue with SFI.
SFI is my escape plan from a life of stress, drudgery and very little sleep to a life of happiness where I have the time to do what I really want to do!
So keep in mind the reasons why you joined in the first place and believe that your goals are achievable and it will all fall into place. Never Quit!

Considering the fact that any business take it's time to grow ,each of us must give an ample time before thinking of giving up and this should be applied to all business and not only SFI.

Fact remains that most of the newcomers join SFI and get few easy points in there 1st month and in some cases also in 2nd month and become EA2 . Although 1st 2 months must be spend on reading all the valuable materials provided to us free by SFI . And then try to implement all your studies in work to grow your business.

But ,most of us try a shortcut to success. Going becomes tough from month 3 and most of them star quieting .

This is the time when one have to make a self assessment and think positively and keep on moving for next few months.Look on the leader board's ,read few forum topics. There are too many successful persons enjoying a handsome income from SFI. If they can do this, why can not I do .Challange yourself and try to win the challenge.

Gradually ,you will start smelling success .

That is a good question because it is very easy for a lot of people to give up before they even get started. There is nothing more to do but to keep pushing forward and have a lot of patience. What I do is I look forward to the no's and all the negative that I get and then when I see those people again and I am making just a little progress they start to take notice.

It is very important to stay focused and to keep in contact with all your people even if they are not doing anything because if they see that you are moving along they start to make little bumps and may stop again but when they see that you are still at it they take notice and will look at what you have done and will want to follow you on the same path.

Again it does take a lot of patience but if you keep going and don't give up it will pay off in the long run. Just keep moving and you will get somewhere lack of movement keeps you in the same place and nothing happens when you don't move and it doesn't matter how slow or how fast you move just do it!

OK, it all started when there was a re-structuring in the company I worked with and the office was relocating to another state. It did not favour quite a number of staff as we had other businesses and commitments. The company came up with a Voluntarily Retirement Scheme (VRS) where you would be paid for a number of years spent with them. At that point in time, it really got me thinking and I had to look for an alternative as I just had my daughter. I started with an online business which failed and I happened to stumble across SFI.

I read about the company through google and decided to give it a try as I had nothing to loose as is said ITS FREE.
First month was very educative and had a lot to read about, though relatively new to online marketing but I can say the materials really helped a lot. Thanks to my co-sponsor who was very supportive encouraged me and told be advertising is very key.
Looking back, I can say that it was not a mistake joining SFI as I was able to get a lot of benefits.
1. Flexibility of hours. (Log on anytime to do our daily, weekly or monthly tasks) with no query.
2. Financial freedom
3. Cost effective as you work with a budget at suits you.
4. Constant support from your upline to make you feel at ease on SFI.

There were times when I can say that I became discouraged with SFI and internet marketing in general. The biggest problem was that I was focused on the negative side of things.

I recruited affiliates who never did anything, I didn't make any sales, and these things were bringing discouragement to me. I took a step back from my business and re-evaluated things.

Realizing that I was focusing on the negative side of things, I began to change my mindset. I began to focus on the POSITIVE side of things. I began to work with those on my Team who were serious about SFI and their own internet business.

I also never forgot one of the biggest things I learned through SFI. And that is to "NEVER GIVE UP!" I've also read that the only way to fail is to quit.

After taking some time to re-evaluate things, I realized I needed a long term strategy and plan. I developed my plan after careful thinking. I would no longer focus on the negative, only the positive, and realized that it is ATTITUDE that will help me.

I began to focus on what my talents, strengths, and passions in life were. Then I began to utilize these in my business. Running your own business requires a lot of determination, hard work, and a never give up attitude.

And most of all, I will never forget all of Mr. Gery Carson's words of wisdom through all the years I have been with SFI. His words and the attitude with which he runs SFI is remarkable. I've also read that if you want what someone has, then do what they did to get it.

After all of this re-evaluation, I just KNEW I could do it and since then have NEVER GIVEN UP. I've changed my attitudes and my thinking. I always look on the bright side of things and stay focused on continuing to develop my business. The things I do today will bring me results tomorrow, that's the only way it can happen.

If you do nothing, you will get nothing. If you do something, as little as it may be, you will have results. Build on those results every day. Work on your thinking and realize that you CAN DO THIS. Be smart about your business, don't get overemotional.

Remember, that even though you may have a bad day, tomorrow can always be better, and most times it is. "This too shall pass."

I just remember the day I enrolled to SFI!
I was sick of been betrayed by other scam companies that promised to take you to the moon! for almost 4 years I was investing my money on the so called “Get rich quick scheme” and guess what ? nothing even happens no matter what I was doing , every time they wanted more and more money to keep me on track!
Today I can tell you that being part of the real world with SFI make me feel very proud!
I’ll tell you why!
When I started with SFI , at first I was skeptical and I did not want to invest time and money to be on track.
There were a lot of mind barriers that put me down and overwhelmed my nagging spirit !
Finally I realized that procrastinating has nothing to do with being wealthy, then I decided to put “all the meat on the grill”. So I put more fire , fire and more fire!!!
I make myself a promise and never doubt on the SFI program.
I put my own bandage and cover my eyes and getting lead by SFI!
Being an entrepreneur does not mean getting rich without investing money; It does mean that you have to invest and risk in some manner the money and time that you want to harvest.

What kept me pushing forward were the feedbacks I got from affiliates through the forum on a daily basis and responses to questions from the ASK SC. If things are not going their way, people in general, will voice their opinions. In contrast, if things are working out for them, people will voice their opinions. Therefore, I paid keen attention to the responses of people and those responses gave me added motivation to press forward.

I can safely tell you that I have gained a wealth of useful information from the responses of affiliates, so much so that I am revitalized every day to move forward. For me, to keep pushing forward, I had to establish a good routine. Once I felt comfortable with the system, I developed good daily habits - going through my "to-do" list, spending at least 30 minutes posting ads, and allowing at least 20 minutes to read, read,read!!!

Persistency really is the key. Even though everyday may not be the same as far as results, they will come with time and effort.

This is a real business! Just like anything in life, you have to stay committed and do the work. Learn from others and ask questions from your sponsor if you don't understand.
Before you know it, you will be teaching others and reaping the rewards!

If your own team is not very supportive, usually other team members are helpful, too. Look for members that have team leadership badges that are successful with SFI, for advise. I would say you almost gave up because you were innocent! But thank God you and all who are reading this are not quitters.

1. I took my time to read every statement in my first days. I actually raised enough VersaPoints (VP) to win a Fast Track badge on my first day as SFI affiliate.

2. When I realised I had a sponsor - I had joined following an ad, I contacted my sponsor right away on my first day. He turned out to be the best sponsor I could have, he replied immediately. The SFI sponsor program is so encouraging because you don't move blindly or as a lone tourist.

3. I started and kept it a daily habit to check the red tabs on my home page. Of course I completed my profile and uploaded my smiling face the first day. And I daily participate in the free drawings. I have actually won free TCredits (TC). Encouraging!

4. I read the Launchpad lessons and answered the simple quiz which comes with VPs so tempting and information so appealing that I read all the lessons sooner than recommended.
