I find it wise to draw your affiliates' attention to the garage sale option first. Most people pile up unnecessary and even unused things, just because they have no idea what to do with them, or simply put them aside and forget they have them. They just need to be reminded. Once they start selling their stuff, chances are that they will also take a look at other people's lists and probably notice something they would like to have themselves, then maybe get some new ideas about what they could sell, and so on, and so on.

Also, it is of utmost importance not to be pushy! If you are too pushy, people will just ignore you or even believe that you just want to trick them. Do you enjoy shopping when a sales-person keeps asking you what you're looking for, offering her/his help excessively and following you around the store? I don't! Actually, that usually drives me out of the store! It's good to ask yourself how you would feel in another person's shoes, and approach people exactly as you would like others to approach you.

You may discretely draw their attention to some specific items which you yourself find useful, appealing and affordable. But, again, don't do it too often and don't ask for feedback.

This is a question we see here many times and there is probably no "best answer" to this one. Many, many people WANT to earn an income, NOT everyone is willing to put in the effort to achieve that reality.

There is an old "rule" in sales called the 80/20 rule.
80% of your sales will generally come from 20% of your clients.

This is attributed to an economist by the name of Vilfredo Pareto.

Keeping this in mind when dealing with a group of affiliate can be helpful.

We will NEVER, no matter how much we "encourage" with messages of support those who do not possess a sincere desire to be in business and illustrate this by contacting you and participating in their own business growth.

Of course, we can also over-do our encouragement as a "sales-manager" and become over zealous in our "encouragement", perhaps upsetting some of our new team partners.

So, I would suggest keeping these principals in mind, identifying who the 20% on your team are (the committed workers - the producers) and focus your efforts on those 20% and appreciate the other 80% of folks have an interest....perhaps, they just don't possess the sincere desire.

We all have only 24 hours in any day and to be most productive, focus on the 20%, stay in touch occasionally with the 80% and build your business!

3) Send out posts to your team about special bargains YOU'VE discovered on TripleClicks.

3) Send a small 'gift' of TCredits or cash (US$10 even) to those who have already signed up on TripleClicks to do some 'free shopping'.

4) Send out a team post to all congratulating those who got the gift to shop on TripleClicks.

If that does not get them excited about TripleClicks nothing will.

I would start with getting them to re-read both SFI Basics and Launchpad. Have in your Newsletter for your PSA information about the power of their own store in Tripleclicks which is now one of top 2000 most visited website on the internet.

I would point out the game of T-time where your PSA could win 2 TCredits and then they could participate in pick the price and even win 100 TCredits. Win in auction where sometimes products go for 1-3% of retail price.

I show them products where you can do easy shopping online of things they would already buy else where anyway and with those products bring some vp for your PSA. With vp could help them advance to EA rank and start to earn from vp which is great for building their business.

You might think I'm crazy, however, it's like a math problem. There's multiple ways to get the right answer and all of them are correct. There is no "one and only way" to get affiliates to be active in TripleClicks. The other aspect of math problems that relates is, you have to give the student (the affiliate) the variables needed to solve the problem in this case - involvement in TripleClicks.

In math the variables differ, with TripleClicks the variables are constant.

Give your affiliates the information needed to learn the basics of TripleClicks. Then give them avenues to seek further, more in depth info for later use.

Persuade affiliates by showing them that you've won a PriceBenders auction. (If you haven't won, let them know you participate daily because you get 1 VersaPoint per bid, and 5 MemberRewardPoints per bid). Be sure to also let them know with enough Member Rewards Points they can actually purchase items with them instead of cash.

Because I want to keep this short and to the point, one more option would be, give your affiliates some "bonus" T-credits to spend and try out. You can do this through vouchers.
