I like your question, because I've thought about it many times so far.
If I look at my regular job, no matter how much advocated, perfected and achieved success - the result is always the same. There are no reward for extra effort and the only profit one gets in this case is personal satisfaction and, possibly, recognition of similar people. But with honors you can’t pay the bills, educate children or go on vacation.
By contrast, SFI awards each, even minimum, effort and achievement, and it not only gives the will to go forward, but makes you feel worthy and capable of success. Moreover, you exactly know that for much more efforts you'll be rewarded much more.
SFI gives you everything you need to be successful (training, support, tools for work) and recognizes those who apply what they've learned. The whole system works perfectly. And its special value is teamwork in the truest sense.
Finally, I briefly conclude: one thing that has made the difference in succeeding with SFI is recognition – recognition of workers, recognition of those who perfectly use a perfect opportunity.
