I often start conversations with people I don't know. What are the best ways I can transition these conversations into me giving them an X-card/flyer/postcard for SFI?
Think about what SFI has to offer and how it would benefit them. How could they get the most out of SFI?
It depends on the situation, but if you can get them to talk about their financial goals, spending more time with family, etc. you can find a way to casually mention something about SFI, and go from there.

You can start this way "Have you ever done bussiness or any form of trade online?", if they say "yes", then you just tell them that you have this extraordinary one to share, then you give them brief's and hand them the cards, or share your link. But, if their reply to your question was "no", then you can tell them you wanna introduce them to one, then brief them, and then hand over the card, or share your link. I Think is better that way.

Work into your conversation the fact that you are involved
in a great business online. One that has some real potential and if they're curious they can check out 'this'
aspect of it here (as you hand them your card). If they return your card then you still have it to present to someone else who may follow up. If they don't return it then you may have already found your someone else.
If you are talking to people and tell them you found a great way to earn money online, usually they ask YOU for a card. I also have the TripleClicks.com window stickers on 3 sides of my car and people always ask for cards, even at an intersection when I am driving.

Let them lead the conversation with any questions that they have. If you get stumped on a question just tell them that you will call them with the answer. When you do, arrange a 3 way with your up line or another member from your team. Then turn the conversation over to them and let them answer the questions the prospect may have. It called a third party endorsement and works well when done correctly.

What I like to do is what I would call a "warm up" routine. I start with making small talk while getting to know the person. Also another technique I use is reading the person's body language. A person's body language tells you alot, pay special attention to eye contact. If the person is maintaining eye contact with you, then they are interested in what you are saying. Hope this helps!
