Just like the old proverb saying : Don't judge the book by its cover.

SFI has provided us with many fellow affiliates. They can be newbies. Like the above proverb, we can not underestimate our new friends. We can not judge them to be less knowledgeable than us. Who knows that they may have learned more than we have. Their knowledge is valuable for us. Their experience, though they are quite new, may be useful for us. Who knows that they may provide us with great help and assistance in any kinds of things we don't understand yet.

Also, we are provided with long-time affiliates. We can learn from them. We can learn from their experience, especially who have achieved higher levels and Team Leaders.

Now how to get benefits from our a2a friends? Just ask them any queries you don't know. Ask them politely to share their experience in certain areas. I think if you ask them politely and if they are actively log into SFI, they will be pleased to share their experience and knowledge.

How to get positive support and assistance from friends A2A is as follows:

1. Select a friend who had one vision
Choose the friend that one's vision is a very important means for the survival of our friendship.To have a vision of the purpose of the direction and meaning of friendship will be clear and easy to live this friendship.

2. Select a friend who has the same talent.
Choose a friend who had the same talent will make it easier to braid friendship. Communication that occurs in this friendship will be smooth and dynamic.
Discussion of the problems experienced by the Member will be easy to get the solution.

3. Select a friend who has the same hobby.
Choose a friend who has the same hobby will improve communication among members.

Begin with yourself. Using Stream Post or Forum, post to your A2A friends and even to other affiliates, who might have valuable experience, they might want to share with you. Think of your challenges, obstacles you have encountered and how you weathered them in your SFI journey.

By sharing your thoughts, your inner feeling, your struggle, you will find yourself being poured with tips and advices that may be much value to you. Some may request you to become your A2A friend, if they’re not on your list yet.
As a rule, it’s the more successful people who are humble and ready to help. They are sincerely interested in their work and success, they are eager to see that their works lives on and that somebody capable succeeds them when they retire.

Dear Paul,

Let me be completely honest with you.

I am one of those A2A friends you would like to motivate to offer support, because I never do.

When I first joined SFI, I became part of the A2A program, as I really saw how great it could be. But as time went on, I realized no one contacted me for help, and I felt that, even if someone did, I couldn't provide any, because I was still new and knew nothing about the program that couldn't be read on SFI basics or in the Launchpad.
SFI offers all the support and assistance an affiliate needs.

As for the motivation, I understand that a2a friends, especially those with the same background or experience can help.

Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: What! You, too? Thought I was the only one. C.S. Lewis quote

To sum up, try finding soul mates and they will respond. The others probably see SFI completely differently than you and will not find the time to be a true A2A friend.

You simply have to ask for support and assistance.

1. Be sure not to promote or share any other programs aside from SFI and TripleClicks.
2. Your availability online count most for them to realize that you are serious in this Business.
3. Greet and Congatulate them for their promotions and achievements.
4. Be yourself and open for all concerns if they also need help.
5. Share your Dreams and Visions why are you doing SFI Business.

You're also aware that a2a allows you to identify and befriend SFI affiliates in your own country, state/province, or city; or search by gender, age, join date, common goals, and more...or any combination, as well as create "best buddy" lists, brainstorm, share tips, discuss SFI news, and more.

With a2a 2.0, we've integrated this resource even more into SFI--with an a2a tab on your SFI homepage and 1 VP a day awarded to affiliates for visiting it. It also uses a2a members' real names and SFI account photos, so you know exactly who you're dealing with.

You can also access a2a via Affiliate Snapshots (the "mini-profile pages" you see when you click on an affiliate's name at the SFI Affiliate Center--such as the names on the various leaderboards). This makes it super easy to connect with fellow affiliates. When you open an Affiliate Snapshot, for example, you'll see an a2a "Friend Request" button. To you or to others?

A2a Isn't really for support and assistance. We have the Support Desk, forum, sponsors and cosponsors for this. A2a is really more for brainstorming, making friends, and getting to know people. It also helps to alleviate boredom and gives you a way to kick back and have fun chatting with others and getting to know each other.

However, sometimes A2a friends do come to us for help. And if this happens we should all be willing to do whatever it takes to provide that help, even if they're not in our downline. But first, I usually ask them to ask their sponsor first, and if they're not willing, I am quite willing to help them.

How do you get them to offer it? Actually I don't try to get them to. That's more a job for your sponsor, or theirs, and not something that A2a is for.

Try to seek out A2A friends that are successful in the business. Look at the top enrollers, top power rankings, and the most active people in the forum. Request them as A2A friends, build a rapport with them over time, and don't be afraid to bounce ideas off of them or ask questions.

Most people that are active in this business will help you out and respond to your questions. You probably wont get secret advertising places out of them or anything like that but you can gain a lot of good information and best practices from your A2A friends. Good luck!

This is very simple and I will approach it in 3 ways:

Firstly, you know the calibre of your a2a friends personally or at the Forum. If it is a personal relationship, then there is no issue of how to get them to offer help. However, the ones that participate actively at the Forum are easy to access and determine their area of strength and expertise, going by the quality and integrity with which they inform forum audience, either by their replies or their own threads. Therefore, it may be more convenient to include such individuals in your Top Friends and any time you need their help just click on their profile or use your a2a to access them. Please ensure you thank them when help is rendered because many lack this courtesy and it discourages offer of more assistance next time.

Secondly, there are those that are not very active in any forum, so it may be difficult to understand how and where they can be useful. In this circumstance, run a check through their profile. Look at what they sell, their rank, date joined and other important badges that may give a hint as to their characteristics. For example; The Date Joined may give a clue as to the a2a friend's knowledge in SFI which may be useful if you want help in understanding a particular issue in SFI. Another is Gift Card Distribution badge that will give a clue on someone you may want to ask, how to successfully distribute GC, and the list goes on and on.

Lastly, in the absence of the above, just throw the offer of support as a general request in the a2a Stream Post and you will definitely receive good and encouraging replies and from such replies, you will be able to build another profile of individual a2a friends based on their responses, in case of next time.

Please do not get me wrong, it does not mean some of these people will always help or get it right but these are my recipe to attempt to get the best out of your a2a network.

I have just recently joined a2a, but from what I see it is pretty much the same as the other groups I have been associated with. It is a group of people that get together to talk about what they enjoy, their children and grandchildren, where to go on vacation ect.
Most of the people in these groups are more than willing to lend a hand, give support or give advice, but they need to hear from you that you want something and what that something is.
Some people are open to receiving advice or support from others even if they did not ask for it. Others are not that open and a few are upset when they receive advice that was not solicited. This makes many people a little shy about giving advice if it was not specifically ask for.
If there is something you need help with or you are unsure of ask your a2a friends. They may surprise you.
