I believe that most people are fairly familiar with facebook and other social media sites so here is what I would do:

1. Simply just friend them or follow them (depending on the site) and start a conversation with them.

2. Send a team mail to everyone welcoming your new affiliate and add your social media names and ask everyone to post on these sites. It may be easier to send to all so that the new affiliate doesn't feel singled out.

4. Start a contest on your leadership page that emphasizes social media.

3. Finally, you always hold a weekly internet meeting with your team and go over social media and it's advantages.

What I do to further engage my affiliates is to ask them to "friend" me on Facebook and "follow" me on Twitter. Then, after they have done this, it allows me to be able to advertise to their friends - it opens it up so that instead of them having to "persuade their friends," they can receive regular advertisements from me - an outside advertiser.

When their friends join, I already have a certain keycode set up for that so that they will automatically join me, but they'll be the affiliate of that affiliate. My affiliates like it because it allows for FREE advertisement and they don't have to hound their friends and family.

It is a win-win-win. I win because I get another affiliate in my downline. My PSA wins because he gets free advertisement AND new affiliates. The new affiliate wins because they get to be mentored by one of their friends/family members. It works for us all.

Second:Make a Facebook group just for members of your team. In that group inform your members every day, make new post about news in SFI, make example of posts with pictures which they may use when they advertise . Than in that group any of your members can ask and explain his problem about working, and you and other colleagues may help . Actually members of your team will know that this group is like his big friend who can help to him anytime with advices, suggestions, and experience .

Third: Make fan page and help to your members to do his Fan Pages, of course with their links inside. Than they may in Facebook business groups advertise their Fan Pages instead of their gateway links. Anyone who like your/them Fan Page is potencial member , and you/your member can contact that person . On this way you/your members will make a lists of potencial members and you can animated them and make some of them your active members - your affilates in SFI

My advice to all those who choose to be members of SFI is that if you have a profile on FB right to do so because it is a window to the world. With FB you can make new friends and potential collaborators .... To succeed in this business, you have to somehow stand out from the crowd bid internet business. It can if you make a tempting advertisement.
1. You can also advertise themselves as successful marketers in the business, SFI offers, Clicks, Price benders .... How will you do that depends on you. You can create a group in which you explain the way of doing business and that it join all those who are interested in the work that you do, your co-workers who are already in this business with you .
You can create a page in which you will advertise your products, your store or ECA to TripleClicks products.
2. Create your ad in which to represent the masses. Write about yourself (your name, your status in SFI and what they offer as well as your team members). Put your own photo (no dogs, no kitty ...) because it operates so professional and everyone will realize that they have contact with serious and business person.
3. Join the more groups that allow advertising business online. Observe the rules of each of the groups into which you enter and do not spam. One ad per day per group is sufficient. Be creative and let your every ad is different from the previous . Monotony kills interest.
4.Invite friends to the most people that you feel that your have similar interests. Maybe just waiting for an offer like yours. Culturally they are present in the message and ask them to accept you as a friend if you are interested to know more details about the work you do. In this way you are protecting yourself from the viceroy and show a high level of culture.

People can also post a questions, share their success and experience with SFI. Send your team, PSA, CSA, downline, upline a mail to join that group. Also recommend your SFI affiliates to join certain business groups on FB where they can advertise and promote their gateways with explanation what to do and what not to do.

I seem to be running at adds with most of the other affiliates where this question is concerned. While I allow my affiliates to be-friend me on Facebook, I do not encourage it, nor do I use Facebook or even read it on a daily or weekly basis. I have several reasons for this.

I find that Facebook is very distracting, I can spend hours a day on it. I don't have that excess time. I also do not watch TV for the same reason. Time is money. Yes, I have lots of friends and family who use this media for all communication. They send good stories, great informative articles, family photos, events, etc. I post "share its" for products from TripleClicks and some product write-ups.

Since I have lots of friends and their children who write me, I have many different personalities that show up. Not all of them are family friendly. I have de-friended some of them, but also think that I might have a good influence on some of them, so I keep those even when I do not appreciate their comments or language. Should I encourage my PSAs to read my friends comments? Not most of them. Why waste the time?

Same for the games. I have several friends who spend hours everyday building pretend businesses and whatever. What if they spent that time playing SFIVILLE? I certainly do not wish for my teammates to play those games.

Also, SFI has provided us so very many ways to communicate with our teams, why take them out of the system and use this kind of "private" venue? I know it can be private or public. But why steer them out and away from SFI communication? SFI does encourage us to use our private email to contact our PSAs and CSAs but for a specific purpose to get around the lack of whitelisting and spam filters.

Therefore, I don't think we should further engage our team in using Facebook or other social media. Atleast not the social pages.

Facebook does have a provision for business accounts and Topical groups that can be used for advertising, but care must be used in regards to what you print, how you print it, and who you allow to join, and the moderation.

First, you need to set up your account and follow people and businesses that you respect and can potentially pass your message to your target group. Most people will follow you back, and their followers will, too. (The key to this method is to build a large following on your site.)

Then, start a blog about SFI, Home business, marketing, sales techniques, etc., and how your target goup will benefit from your thoughts. Be sure there is a link to your SFI Gateway immediately following each article. Then, post a tweet with the URL of your blog entry. This is a quick and effective way to get your message to hundreds of your target group's members.

I have read answers from other affiliates mentioning a Fan page on Facebook but they never said anything about monetizing it. In a fan page you can engage your affiliates but you also use it in conjunction with an autoresponder like Aweber because you are building an emailing list so that then you can advertise SFI and TripleClicks by email to every one who subscribed to your fanpage.

In answer to your question you create a Fanpage and you monetize it on Facebook for you and your team to have another form of communication but also you use it to make money because you are also selling TC products that are especially for SFI affiliates such as ebooks, advertising materials etc (for example you take your affiliate link for each product and put it on your fan page) so you are making the job easier and save them the trouble of fishing them out in the store and also you can even sell t credits to your team and make $200 or $300 per month.

I also suggest that you learn what you can from IAHBE (if you are a member) and use your fanpage to write articles and post excellent information for your team because as you know not everyone can afford IAHBE so what better way to share what you learned than a monetized Fanpage.

I Believe that the friendly relationship between Sponcer and Affliate is very important in the business like SFI.To engage them on social media sites,first you must create a good impression on yourself by sending team mails daily(if possible).
Then you can say them some reasons stating the need of connecting each other on social media sites.I can suggest you some reasons up to my knowledge.
1) You can access me in most of the time.
2) Any news regarding SFI,TC etc will be shared.
