To build a Team with real Team Spirit in SFI is attainable, it is possible and it is also very profitable, because the success of your business depends on your strength and size (duplication).

There will be no team if you are lazy in recruiting affiliates or in providing support and direction to the ones you have already. As the saying goes “you cannot give what you do not have”. So you must research, understand and practice the workings of SFI and teach your Team Members the same knowledge you have acquired.

You must develop some qualities and character strengths that will help you build your team spirited Team, such as:

Commitment
As a Leader, you must show commitment to the business you are involved in, and in SFI you VP Streak badges is your proof.

Planning
You must have systems in place that will help you get to your destination and the best way to develop and plan is to have a reason/purpose.

Well defined Goal
Until you are able to set goal(s) for your business you will never determine your input, goals have to be either, daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly or yearly. For every segment you accomplish, have evidence that will account for what has been archived, and move you to the next segment.

Being Focused
A good leader does not lose focus of the set goals until they are achieved, he stays on course and every action and communication will reflect the purpose and your team will see it and apply same in their own business.

Leading by Example
Do all the things that you want your downline members to do, and they will follow your lead. Bear in mind that your team members will do as you do. Make sure everything you want them to do you've got the badge for such acts on your page, otherwise, don't expect your team members to work for them either.

Being Patient
You must understand that even though people are with you, we all do not have the same drive and will power. If there happen to be some people in your team that are not coming along as fast as you would wish, do not give up on them. Keep providing them with motivation, inspiration, and help create and maintain momentum, you never know who among these, are your ACEs.

I believe that to build a good team you have to devote willingly some time to this activity.


The time to devote to this activity concerns the following things:

1) send always a welcome letter to your new affiliates

2) be available to your affiliates when they ask for help or make you questions about working

3) compliment always each their success or growth level

4) provide them with incentives to encourage them in their growth

5) be always a good example with your work

6) engage the workers, says Gery Carson, and do not waste precious time with those who have not intention of working

A team can be described as a group of persons working together towards a common good. In a team, there is no "I", but we and us. Therefore; the best way to build a TEAM-- with true team spirit in SFI is to lead by example. A good team leader will ensure that he 'practices what he preaches'. In order to build a team, a leader must be supportive. A leader must also communicate with his team regularly. He should also respond to his team in a timely manner, when they have questions or issues. Remember that in order for a team to be successful, each member is dependent on the other. Team members should also be encouraged and motivated because they will be more likely to continue on the road to success.

Cultivate mutual trust.
Mutual trust is the initial capital is strong enough to build a strong team. The trust then each party can perform its functions to the maximum and will have the support of a team of friends.

Build good communication.
Good communication within a team can complete the obstacles and barriers that exist, which can appear suddenly and unexpectedly, in addition with good communication can generate good ideas that can emerge at any time. This will facilitate the achievement of the objectives within the team.

Build the same perception about SFI Business.
Equate to the same perception about SFI business within the team is the first step before running the organization team.

Assign the same vision about the SFI business.
A vision far ahead and realistic in its achievement is the direction to strive for the team. All team members will deploy all the potential that exists to achieve that vision.

Assign the same mission in the team.
After the vision agreed upon, the next step is to define the mission and the mission is run for all team members in accordance with their respective tasks.

Running a team organization agreed.
After the vision and mission are set, the next step is to run the organization functions ranging from planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, controlling and evaluation.

Since teams usually need someone to lead the effort, the team must have principled leadership. YOU! Together with members, create inspiring goals that fire the imagination. These clearly defined goals would be known to all members and the team should be allowed to operate in a manner that produces results. All members must be competent. Those not interested in the groups’ progress must be left out. This may sound harsh but you don’t want your group to lose enthusiasm.

There must be a collaborative climate of trust produced by honest, open, respectful and consistent communication. Team members must know what is expected of them individually and collectively.

Ensure that there is unified commitment as members can feel a sense of ownership towards their role in the group because they committed themselves to goals they helped create. Let individuals use their talent and experience to contribute to the success of the team’s objectives. Encourage each individual to express their opinions, new ideas and questions. Each can participate equally in decision making, but understand that the leader might need to make the final decision if the team can not come to an agreement.

SFI is a people based type of business, which means without people there is no SFI. For every SFI AFFILIATE to succeed in this business, we need to love other people because they are part and parcel of our success in this business. Trying to run this business on your own will be similar to running a marathon facing backwards.
Although you are in this business on your own, you are not by yourself. For you or me to know about this business, I had someone giving me information about SFI.
To build a TEAM, we all need to comply with certain credentials e.g.: love others, the will to share, don’t be selfish and avoid jealousy. In network marketing, you will find that your down line is more knowledgeable or prosperous than the sponsor, and in such cases you are supposed to celebrate our achievements. We need to avoid destructive negative criticism of other team members and back-biting each other. The main goal is to acknowledge that you success is my success and your failure is mine.
Team work is all about complimenting each other and not to compete against one another. We must realize that as individuals we are gifted differently with skills, talents, education and so on. We need to share with our team in order to achieve our goals.
One of the other important attributes of team work is COMMUNICATION, and communication is a two way process. There’s nothing as discouraging like sending all forms of motivational messages to your team and not receive any feedback, even if it’s a simple ‘thank you’.
