I know for a fact that each of us needs a computer and reliable internet connection to be able to do this business which includes several income streams. Africa is unique in its deficiency in providing the necessary infrastructure to the SFI-listed language and the computer literate people. Cameroon alone has far more than 200 different languages. The system here could explode trying to fit in just these language translations. You will have to make do of the languages here.

Identify the stream(s) best suited for you there. You will then want to identify markets in where these facilities fall in place squarely. An example would be advertising in the top internet cafes around your locality and beyond as far as possible. It might cost you nothing to advise the café owner to have an SFI with your gateway watermark inserted . The colleges/universities are better equipped. Ensure there is a flyer or three hanging on the bulletin boards of each hostel/hall of residence or faculty for example. Seek proper permission where necessary.

In addition since you have the www at your disposal you can enter the global market too. free and paid adverts online to push your gateways.

Aaron, you do not face problems other than what we all face in SFI. I think affiliates from Central Africa face bigger problems than most of us, and even those problems have been minimized by SFI Corporate.
Becoming successful in SFI takes:
perseverance,
effort,
good marketing,
being an awesome sponsor,
fostering a culture of duplication,
following the rules of success,
reading as much as you can about internet marketing and applying sound principles and action
reading and submitting Forum posts
reading the ASK SC questions, and where possible answering the questions.
Interacting with a2a friends from Namibia to exchange ideas and advice
Setting goals and working to attain those goals.
reviewing your goals regularly and adjusting them according to the results you are getting.
I think the biggest problem all African affiliates (including South African affiliates and Central Africa Affiliates) face, is the dollar rand exchange rate, and the exorbitant shipping fees and import duties. The way around that is to buy from Local ECA's or to stick to digital products and T-Credits.
Also, you can register as an ECA yourself and promote your ECA Locally.

This is an important question.

New Affiliates in Afica need to master 3 majour problems to become successful in SFI:

1- Problem of langage: SFI is explained in English,so French speaking people has serious problem to start their business. Even if they use google to translate the page, the translation is bad most of the time.
So it is important to have a person who understand French and English to explain this business to them. That is what I do . I create video in French and explain on pdf pages how SFI works and how they can work to make money.

As you know, you can't succeed in SFI if your downline how to manage the business. So to be successful you need to help them , to teach them in the langage they understand. You need to teach them how to use all the button of their back office.

They should understand that , they can' t use French to send message to English speaking people who are CSAs in their downline. So succeed you need to help them.

2- Problem of Laptop and Internet : In this business you need to have a laptop and Internet. As you know only 40% of people in your area in Africa can have personal Laptop + Internet. So for those who have not Internet and Laptop encourage them to go to Cafe cyber to do their daily, weekly and monthly action. So be informed that the lack of Internet and Laptop can be a serious problem against the success of people in your downline.

3- Problem of payment solution: in some Afican countries, paypal, payza and solidtrustpay can not be used. People don't have credit card or Prepaid card. This is a serious problem for them to set up a standing order. I have in this week a problem with Tripleclicks because I have used my prepaid card to pay Tcredit for some of my members who has no cards. SFI would like each member use his own card . But this is a serious problem for African people. If SFI can allow leaders to help their members in using their car to shop for Affiliates this will be great. Wait and see...I don't have the awnser of this problem for this time...we will wait and see...

In conclusion, SFI is a great opportunity for African people because people can work at home and make many in the comfort ot their house. But , you need to focus on these 3 major problems and SOLVE THEM IF YOU WANT TO BE SUCCESSFUL with SFI in AFRICA.

I am sure there are challenges you have faced or you think someone in Africa might face. I fully appreciate where you are coming from. What is critical for this business though first and foremost is to have access to the internet and a fair knowledge to navigate your way on the net, set websites/blogs...

What you should understand is that this is an online business, as a result you are interacting with the global village online. This has little to do with where you are interfacing from. One day you might relocate to the USA or Asia and you still continue with your business, carrying the same SFIID and the rest of it.

I appreciate that when it comes to having local ECAs, PSAs and doing online business with the local communities, yes you have challenges. In most African countries, being online is for a selected percentage of the population, it is so "foreign" should I say, for lack of a better word. But also remember in other worlds, people are so wary of online businesses because of the level they have gone to and all the scam schemes. Either way you face challenges.

You equally might have challenges with forex laws, depending on country and you find it difficult to make payments. Again SFI is coming up with different payment methods to make this business a easier for the diverse affiliates.

Yes the playing field might seem not level for all affiliates, you might feel you are more challenged by being in Africa, but I truly believe that it is not level for everyone anywhere in the world.

The information SFI has got and the rules for the business are the same for all affiliates. It is how you learn and apply them that determines how far you will go. Tenacity, Patience, Commitment, Diligence and SMART approaches as well as a Positive Attitude will see you make it through whether you are in Africa, America, Australia, Asia or Europe.

I believe since SFI is Global, it doesn't matter where you live as long as you have a computer and internet access. Also, it is very important to maintain at least EA status to help you succeed. The easiest way to remain EA is to set up an SO (Standing Order) of at least 1200 to 1500 VP's. I suggest the 1200 VP's if you plan on logging in EVERY DAY to complete all of your Task's for the day week, or month, as well as Intermediate Actions. Participating in WAVE 3 and Tripleclicks purchasing or Auctions. I suggest on the Auctions, trying to bid for T-Credits and Personally Sponsored Affiliates (PSA's) to help build your downline. A productive downline can be very rewarding, too, but you must be a great Sponsor to them by staying in contact with them. Reward them in some way, if you can. I've rewarded mine with reassigned CSA's, T-Credits, and in other ways, because I want to keep my team. A good team is extremely essential, but they should be rewarded in some way for doing a good job, and you should stay in contact with them. BE there for them. If you're not, you will lose in the end. Advertise your Gateways, etc.! Google search free advertising websites. If your money is limited, that is a start, at least.

Being successful in SFI does not matter where you are and who you are. There is only an advantage to the persons living near SFI center because they can buy anything in the tripleclicks with no shipment cost and arrives very fast. To be successful, just follow SFI rules and standards. Study all the references and focus. Give more understanding, perseverance, patients, and try hard enough with getting PSA’s, CSA’s and involved in tripleclicks sales.

What you need to do first, login everyday, click all the red tabs for 11 VP. Every week you can earn 38VP more by doing your weekly action and 15VP for your monthly action. There is a T-Time drawing every hour in the tripleclicks and you can join on it freely. When you won you have 2TC. If you gathered 13 TC or by winning 7 times, you can join in the bidding of the items with double MRP rewards , that is 10MRP. From 14TC you can have 140MRP. It is better your 140 MRP be used to purchase 1TC using payments from your MRP. 1TC costs 126MRP only. After the purchase, you still have 14MRP left. Just continue joining in the T-Time drawing so your TC goes higher and higher. Hi, Aaron. I think the "how to be successful in SFI" thing has been done over and over again.

Ultimately, it's up to you. If you're willing to put the work into it and dedicate yourself to it, you will do it. The problem is that SFI does not pay off right away, and people get discouraged and quit. Don't quit. Keep your eye on the prize, because it WILL pay off if you continue to work it.

While I'm not from Africa, I imagine there are specific hurdles that are unique to people in certain geographic locations. Africa is a big place, and the hurdles you find in Namibia will be different from those found in Nigeria or South Africa. The best advice I could give you would be to look at the Country leader boards. Find someone at the top of the list for your country, and network with them.

If you need help, ask. Find other affiliates from your country. Ask general questions in the forum. Ask your upline, if they are available. (Mine are not. But I have connected with a lot of people who are very helpful - both on the a2a network, and the forum.)

The most important thing is your dedication. Set goals. Do something every day to reach them. And never quit. :D

You put of a tricky question. We are using www (World Wide Web). Everybody in the world can use it. But there limitations prior to locations.

1. The site is having multi language feature which will help you in building bussiness.

2. As we know Dollar is more powerful then most of the countries currencies, that is why local pay is introduced by the SFI. Smart use through features of it can build your bussiness in SFI.

3. You may not find suitable product to purchase or if you find shipping will be high. Your country have products that others don't have. List those things as ECA. Those things sale in your country and other countries will definitely build your bussiness. Ofcourse before listing go through banned ECA items list.

4. There are other problems like debit/credit card, financial, education & computer literate etc. In this case be the first person of your locality have some Tcurrency, try to have SBuilder etc and build your downline with your suitable conditions so every downline member can have minimum 1500 VP.

We used to say when there is will there is way. Here I can able to discuss only 3 to 4 way. But you will find 100s of way and one thing I can say you can fulfill those ways in SFI. Going through SFI Lunchpad, trading, news etc will help you to a extent you can not imagine.
