To become successful ECA, first you need the proper mind set. You need to think like a brick and mortar outlet would.

1) A great product line, or a need niche.

2) Fair pricing

3) Promotional Items or specials

4) Maybe a special item that a give away with a set $ amount ordered. People love free stuff. Or discount shipping

Now you have your store open, but now you need tons of traffic.

1) Link up with many other ECA

2) Promote your store in free classified ads, traffic exchanges, and paid advertising site that fix the niche.
Now the part that make you successful!

1)Outstanding customer service

2) Fast deliveries

3) accept returns if customers is unhappy. Remember that word of mouth is the best form of advertising. 1 unhappy customer cost you many times over.

Now you should be off and running with a profitable outlet

My best bet in becoming a successful ECA will be do lots of marketing and promotional activities using whatever mediums  available be it the various social medium platforms such as Twitter or Facebook or Pinterest as well as not forgetting your warm markets and those in your contact lists And establishing connections with fellow ECAs etc

And most important of all is do your research not only at the TC website but also on the Internet and once you have a niche product that you can offer at a good price then I see no reason why you will not succeed 

Good products will be ebooks category as there is no need to ship it otherwise sometimes the cost may appear to be attractive but once shipping costs are added in and all it becomes not so good a  buy to them

Hi,

I felt so nice when Tripleclicks approved my ECA some time back. Then came another headache, how do i make sure i get multiple orders from my store?

To me, successful ECA translates to multiple orders. Now this is what i did.

1. Sell variety of products: Having only one product in your ECA shows you aren't serious with your business. You have to show your customers that you are in touch with the latest trend in your category you are selling. I once began with one product and never got any order. But once i added more and more products, i started getting orders.

2. Competitive pricing: As i added more and more products, i realized that some of other ECAs might have the same product. That shouldn't worry you, just make sure that your pricing isnt very high compared to them cause if it is, then you will loose out on your sale. A customer wants to see that they are getting the same quality product and at a very discounted price.

3. Daily Updates: You will get many connections once you start doing well and what i like doing is always update my following on business advices, motivational words and offers that might interest them

4. Advertise: I always advertise my ECA everywhere so as to get new customers. Place adverts in Facebook or any paid adverts that will yield to business or new PRM under you.

5. New Connection: Every time i bid in PB Auction, i get new connection which is also a great advertisement for my ECA. Make sure that you also participate in PB auction cause its free advertisement for your ECA

But one thing that i am still looking for is a ''NICHE PRODUCT.'' Well, i have told you my secret and if you can come up with a niche product on top of what i have told you up there, you will definitely become a successful ECA.

To do this, you need to connect with people. Connect with other SFI affiliates. Your downline. Your a2a network. Your sponsor (who gets commissions from your sales) should also be mentioning your store.

The more SFI affiliates that know about your store, the better the chances someone will choose to promote your store.

Make sure you have quality items, and your prices are reasonable. Make sure you ship items quickly, and offer stellar customer service.

More affiliates will be interested in promoting your store and your items if you follow these simple, common sense rules.

To become a successful ECA, you must understand your product and your market. The best approach to being a successful ECA is to match the product to the needs (and pockets ;)) of your market. Too many ECAs fall in love with a product this is obsolete! Who cares if 'beanie babies' are your favorite. . . what really matters is does your market love 'beanie babies'! If they do then great but how do you find out?

Well, you survey your market. Ask them what they need and what they are reasonably willing to pay for it. Now that doesn't mean that you are going to 'low ball' the competition and kill your business profits. But what it does mean is that you are going to do everything that you can as a merchant to keep cost low and pass some savings to your market. That's being a smart ECA and it will make you a successful ECA as well.

When doing any kind of advertising, it's always good to remember to fish where the fish are biting This means that as a general rule place your ads where like-ads exist. In the case of the ECA program, you want to advertise it where other parties are advertising products and services directed at the same target audience because this indicates that your target audience bites here For example don't run an ad for ECAs in a publication that is filled with ads for children's products. Instead, place your ads where there are other ads targeting business owners.
You're approaching businesses. If you want to be successful in getting referrals, you need to come across as a professional. This means wearing the proper attire if you're going into stores or meeting with decision-makers. It means using professionally-printed letterhead, envelopes, and other literature. And so on.

For me it is very interesting question.
ECA is very important thing for good SFI bussines.

First is good products.
Not nesesery to have a lot of products, but must bee interesting.

Second is marketing for ECA shop and for products.
If you have team for marketing, who will present products, you will have sale.
The best way is to give big discount for some products, and call the affilliates to join to yours team, and earn for advertasing yours product.
Similar to making team for SFI, you have to make team for ECA.

For me, the best is combination of digital and physical products.
For physical products, main problem is shipping costs, specialy for foreign markets.
If you find tips of products, which price is resonable, and cover shipping costs, you will have succes in ECA.
For digital product, you will have to find some new and useful digital products for users, and it is not easy at all.

I think to become successful with ECA or SFI, you need to know the basics!
Start with reading up about the ECA program, you can find this in the Marketing drop down tab on the black bar.

Also if you go to the Training tab on the black drop down bar again you can read the ECA Strategies and the ECA FAQ's.

I recommend you go to the Reference Tab again on the black bar, go take a look at your ECA Report, where you can connect with other ECA's, there is also some more information on this page!
