There are a variety of reasons people don't work towards advancing in SFI.

Many people come here looking for a fast buck, and when they realize they have to work for it, they give up without trying.

I think more often, though, people just think it's too hard. It's hard to recruit other people to be active in an organization like this. People have to be determined and willing to make a commitment without much payoff at the beginning. Besides that, people have to be willing (and able!) to learn, learn, learn. Then to put into action what they learn. It's hard work.

Then, of course, there are the 98% who log in, don't even watch the "Start" video, and log back out again without having any clue what they're passing up. Log in, log out, and never look back.

It's true that SFI is not for everyone, but I think most people don't even give it a fair chance. I wish there was a way to reach this last group of people, because I think SFI has the potential to be exactly what many of them are looking for.

For those of us who already have down-lines and I would like to announce for those who don't have down-lines yet, that this is the reality we see when we open our genealogy. We see a lot of our down-lines not working towards advancing in SFI.

Out of my more than 7,400 down-lines only 950 have scored at least a total of 1000 VP. Only 200 have earned 20VP and above this month, and only 20 are EA2 and above now. This sample statistics tells us WHY THIS QUESTION IS BEING ASKED.

There are three big reasons why majority of affiliates who sign up in SFI did not continue working with their SFI business.

1. They find SFI busines model difficult to understand. Because of so many readings and information they find it overwhelming and sometimes confusing. They can not cope with the requirement to succeed in SFI.

2. They feel that SFI does not meet their expected income in their first month. Many joined SFI wanting to earn quick.

3. They don't have the means to transact (buy) online. no credit cards nor paypal account.

So, let's face it SFI is not just for everybody, many have tried but learned that it's not just for them.

But don't worry, we don't need a lot of working people, we only need 5 to 10 active affiliates who can do the same as what you are doing, so be sure that you yourself is working towards advancing your SFI business.

The fact is that many people expect riches to fall from the sky without doing much work. From my experience, these people give up as soon as they realize some level of commitment and work on their part is required.

SFI provides an excellent opportunity to become self-reliant, focused and create a residual income. This can be acheived in a number of ways. Yet, many people do not take the time out to read and put their thoughts and goals into actions.

Another reason some people do not work towards advancing in SFI is that they focus too much on the FREE to join slogan and therefore they do not expect to invest anything into becoming financially free. As soon as the VPs from the first two months dry up, so do they.

Finally, some people get depressed when they see their first commission check. They may have expected to be handsomely rewarded for their first month of completing their to-do list. Not understanding the process of duplication, they opt to stay on the fences.

In my opinion, I don't think that it is that people don't want to advance in SFI, I think that funds are a big part of the reason that others cannot advance in SFI.

In order to become an EA, one of the easiest ways is to maintain an Standing Order.

For those that cannot afford an SO, they must work harder to try to Build up a Downline, in order to help them begin to earn the funds to be able to obtain an SO.

It would take a little bit longer time in order to be able to do that, unless one is very savvy in their advertising.

Another reason would be that maybe some are not aware that if they could open up an ECA, that they would be able to try to earn some funds to help them that way to be able to obtain an SO.

But, then again, it comes down to having some funds to be able to do that also.

Because you need funds to really take part in having a ECA store and being able to pay for the products that one might sell upfront before they can get paid.

I would think that another reason would be that one might not have the Sponsor or Co-Sponsor giving them direction or suggestions on what to do next, so they might feel like they are stuck, and just keep on reading and going through the working of the SFI program the best they can, because they really do want to succeed in their SFI business.

I don't think that one does not want to Advance in SFI, I think that some just find it a little bit more difficult to be able to advance because of the money issues and lack of sponsor and co-sponsor support.

Greeting everyone,
In my opinion, most of the reason why affiliates didn't work in advancing SFI are:
**Most of inactive affiliate are those who just join SFI out of curiosity that because its free, maybe they gain more and when they find out that they have to make sales before they earned, they lost enterest on it.
**Some start in SFI, enjoying and having fun earning their VersaPoints but when it comes to getting sales, they have some confusion on how to pursue the outstanding order when payment option is not available for them. So the result, they stuck!
**Some result from luck of knowledge when they sign up and if there's no one to guide them, they just stop login to there account or opt out at SFI. and most of them said just because of hectic schedule, they have no time to login to their SFI. And
**IF they are really keen for making business, no matter what hardship they encounter, they will stay in focus and find ways to go on. But if they only join out of curiosity and become overwhelmed, they end up in confusion and stop.
**And being a leader and their sponsor/co-sponsor, what can we do to change their beliefs that SFI is truely a REAL business? We must NOT give up on them, maybe we give them space to think but never give up.Don't stop sending them encouraging emails,tips and give them proof what you had achieve...And how would you know? They come to think what they lost and right there, they will decide to contenue what they started in SFI. It just a matter of time,patience and courage.

Great question and I think the answer is seen with our entire culture. We live in a world of instant gratification - everyone wants what they want and want it fast. Look at how the pace of the world is increased with technology.

There are loads of people out there who are looking for a 'get rich overnight' deal (which they won't be able to find) and think that SFI is their ticket. I also believe SFI could focus sometimes on the 'FREE to Join' aspect. It's true that it's free to join, but to earn a significant income, you want to be a team leader for the matching VersaPoints - in order to do that, you need a minimum 1500VP from purchases OR sales.

If you are a great marketer, then you may be able to get the 1500VP from sales at TripleClicks to people you have referred. But if not, you may end up needing to make a purchase yourself to get to Team Leader status.

As soon as people realize that SFI is a real business, thousands upon thousands of those people looking to 'get rich quick' flee!

Our job is to find the diamonds that realize it's a business, and to give your business a chance, it's like any other - you need 3 things:

1) Some of your time to invest in learning the business
2) A little capital for advertising (and maybe purchases from TripleClicks)
3) MOST important, PATIENCE to let the business grow

I am upfront with my affiliates and try to make sure that they realize they won't be getting a check for $30,000 next month after joining - it takes time...

And, back to my first statement, many people will not wait because they want the instant gratification. Just encourage them to be patient and give it a few months of being EA before they quit - I like to offer rewards and incentives to my affiliates to encourage them to stick with it!

Most likely the vast majority of folks looking for some extra income don't have the cash to spend on something without an "immediate" return. For those folks suggest selling some things they don't need on TripleClicks to generate some sales. They can use that income for whatever they want. Hopefully, investing in their SFI business. But either way they earn.

Work with those PSAs that are workers. That will build your SFI business. Wasting time with folks who for whatever reason, show no potential or interest after signing up can be a real wast of time. If your welcome letters and other communication was ignored, you're probably on a bridge to no where.

Use team email to get regular messages to everyone and when you see someone working to improve their SFI business, let them know you are here to help. If you don't have any "workers" then spend your time on getting some rather than spin your wheels on those who are not interested. At some point they may decide they will become active, but don't spend too much time worrying about this.

Realize that SFI is not for everyone. As much as you would like the world to be your downline, it's unrealistic to operate with that as your business plan.

Work with the workers, be there for others but let them know that they must put in the time and hopefully some money (if possible) to make this work.

2.There sponsor should mentor there sponsored people.
3.They thing they can complete there big goals with overnight success , things don't happen in that manner.
it takes time "Rome wasn't build in a day".
4.they don't achieve big success because they don't do the things Daily which SFI says like Reading Launch pad lessons , Daily and weekly and monthly actions.
SFI basics.
5.They don't need to make too much complicated when it's really easy to do things step by step i mean baby steps.
6.They spend way too much time on technical things because all the Technical things are handled by SFI so don't worry about auto-responder or any website creation skills you'll make it happen slowly with that skills with IAHBE and Internet income course.
7.People like to make fast and quick money so they thing that can be done with in a day, but working with SFI you need to Learn the things to make it happen from there Training.

Nice question but answer is simple :

People signup thinking that SFI is free. It is free but if you want success you must invest money and time . They are very enthusiastic in the first month and become a EA quickly. In second month it starts to become harder , they realise that SFI is not for them. There will be a lot of reasons why they just back out like lack of money, don't understand the SFI program etc. They feel that SFI is not for them and very difficult to achieve success. Becouse SFI is not overnight success . It takes time to achive success and they just give up .

If they treat SFI not as a get quick rich scheme but as an slow building up business, they may start working seriously towards advancing in SFI. My personal opinion is that people are just not persistent enough .

I have seen similar question pop up in the forum here. I will in my attempt to answer this question, state why more people do not work towards advancing in SFI and also state some actions that could be taken to stem this ugly tide.

Why don't more people work towards advancing in SFI?

a.Most affiliates join with the intention of making quick money. We all know that
SFI is not a “get rich quick scheme’’. It requires a lot of work, just like any
other business which SFI really is. I do not blame most of the people in this
group. Some of the texts in our adverts do suggest that they can make money real
quick!

b.Some affiliates give the excuse of having no money to invest.

c.I have heard some say that they do not have the need time to put into this business.

d.What about the excuse of getting overwhelmed? I have seen quite a few
chickening out because of being overwhelmed.

e.Most people lack the patience all business needs to succeed.

I can go on and on with reasons why more people does not work towards advancing in SFI. Now, I will try to add another dimension to the question “which is what can be done to stem this ugly attitude?’’

a.We have to let them know from the start that there is some work to be done in other
to be successful here. This should reflect in our text ads as well. Agreed that
SFI has put in place text ads to advertise your gateways but we should as
affiliates use them as templates. Modify them so that it won’t be like anybody can
start making good money within a few hours, for instance.

b.No money to invest shouldn’t be an excuse…we actually do not need to invest any
money to be successful here. This is what most affiliates especially the newbie’s
do not know. I speak from experience here. I made the most money when I was not
even an EA. For good three months I was AFF, I made the most money! What do you do
when you lack the money to invest here? You put in a little bit more hard work.

c.With just a few hours on the internet, we could be successful with SFI. Let all
your affiliate know that they just need one hour a day or more if they can afford
to.

d.The most flimsy excuse is getting overwhelmed. It is very easy to get overwhelmed
when you lack the patience to do things the way they should be done. It is clearly
stated initially to read one Launch Pad lesion a day. But what do you see most
newbie’s do? They read all 30 lesions in one day! We all should learn the act of
being patient, follow steps that successful people here have taken and before long
you will begin to stare success in the face.

We can write a whole book on this question if we want to but I just have to summarily point out some very important reasons why people do not want to advance and steps that we can take to counter it.
