TripleClicks gift certificates are a great idea, and are useful for making affiliates feel appreciated and encouraged.

I believe the best way to use them is to reward achievements. This can be done either as an unexpected reward when an affiliate achieves a certain rank, for example, or they can be offered as a prize in a contest.

Personally, I feel running contests is the best way to use gift certificates as rewards. If affiliates know they will receive a gift certificate when they meet the requirements of the contest, it may motivate them to work harder. However, unexpected rewards come a close second, because these make affiliates feel appreciated, and perhaps more inclined to try even harder.

I do both - contests and unexpected rewards - and it works well for me.

The best way to use TripleClicks gift certificates is to use them together with the TripleClicks Gift Cards.

It is always a pleasant surprise to receive a Gift Card with significant value to it and this is what the purpose of these Gift Cards are. Who in their right mind would not accept a Gift Card to the value of $12.00?
The Triple Clicks Gift Cards are heavily subsidized by SFI and carry a value of $12.00 and you as an SFI Affiliate pay only $1.00 for each card. They are obtainable in bundles of 30.....
The downside of giving the TC Gift Certificate to your PSA, specifically for the purpose of purchasing a bundle of 30 TC Gift Cards to distribute, is that there is no guarantee that they will do that, unless the business relationship is built on trust.
Nevertheless, the fact that you are issuing your PSA with a valuable Gift Certificate should be inspiration and motivation enough to grow their business in whichever way they choose fit

This is one of those questions where there is no incorrect answer. Using TripleClicks gift certificates is overall a great motivator to jump start affiliates. The question is not only how to use TripleClicks gift certificates but when to use them and to which affiliates.

There are some core tips that seem to work well if motivation is the primary goal for using TripleClicks. The most successful tip is too include it in your welcome letter for new affiliates you sponsor.

It works to stimulate many affiliates into action whom may of have otherwise been none responsive. Who does not like to spend money? The benefit of using TripleClicks is three fold:

I give a TripleClicks gift certificate to any affiliate that is working hard to build his/her business.
I find it inspires them to communicate with me, most of the time and to work harder.
I also give a gift certificate to anyone who joins TripleClicks that I can't see in person, as e-mail and facebook friends.
If I find someone that's interested in TripleClicks in my area, that I have talked with, I give them a gift card.
I contact businesses and promote TripleClicks as a way to increase their business income.

It is inspiring to beginners that someone would give them money in the form of gift certificates because if they weren't making money they certainly wouldn't be giving it away.

My first month, one of my Upline sent me $5.00 gift certificate. I purchased some $1.00 books and my W3 kit with it. The second month the same upline person sent me a $10.00
which I used to purchase my 100 TCredits with.

When you invest your time and money in someone they do take notice and it has inspired me to do the same.

And if the person you send the gift certificate to doesn't use it, then it is returned to you, so you can pass it on to someone else.

Well ,in my point of view, the best way to use TripleClicks gift certificates to inspire and motivate our affiliates is to give it to them..
The most important factor that makes up for the best use of such cards is in the qualities of the receiver..

Three aspects of gift card delivery:

1.Giving cards to all our affiliates...(not advisable)

If they are given to all our affiliates,then its a waste..The purpose is to encourage the affiliates to achieve some targets..But when they come to know that they get cards even though they don't achieve a particular target,then this slows down the team activities..(Example: When a tree sheds its fruits automatically, no one will climb the tree to get them)

2.Giving cards to active ones...

The active ones are encouraged when rewarded so they will work more and more..(Example: Giving energy tonic to an excellent athlete so he/she could run further)

3.Giving cards to inactive ones :

Its not advisable to give gift cards only to active ones.Even if the inactive affiliates fail to reach a particular target,but tried to reach it, they must be rewarded for their try..
No rewards to those who never even tried..If such affiliates are rewarded every other active affiliates will be discouraged..

So,in short the best way to use TripleClicks gift certificates to inspire and motivate our affiliates is to give them to our active affiliates and trying to be active affiliates..

there are many affiliates that because of where they live,they hardly can use any of payment options provided by SFI and Gift Certificates is solution for them and a very good motivation...

also there are many affiliates that give up when they cant effort to buy any thing at Tripleclicks or they feel SFI is not working for them,in these cases GC whould be a great idea to use...

or some of affiliates cant maintain their EA status and with a GC you can solve their problem...

well,you maybe ask why should i give my money to build someone else's business!?! answer is when you help your downlines build their business,you've actually made your business...

Although gift certificates are not used widely by all affiliates in SFI, they do have the affect of inspiring the affiliates who are aiming to earn themselves one.

Affiliates who have incentive programs set in place for their downlines see it first hand how this very program inspires more leadership, commitment, and hard work.

However, just handing them to any affiliate wont due. They must be strategically distributed to your most active affiliates. One good way is by holding contests for a set action or set of actions.

For instance, you could reward your top 3, 5, 10, or whatever number of affiliates you feel comfortable using, for personally referring the most PSAs in a given month.

A very effective way is to offer them to new affiliates in your downline for reaching the Executive Affiliate rank or above. This motivates them to get into action, which helps you build a solid downline.

Also note that gift certificate distribution should not be limited to your personally sponsored affiliates (PSAs) and should be expanded to your co-sponsored affiliates (CSAs) as well. This ensures activeness throughout your entire downline. An additional note, this works best when you have been actively communicating with your downline. Otherwise, how would they know a out the contest.

I highly encourage that you begin a distribution contest today if you would like to see a wave of activeness throughout your downline. And, remember to actively communicate with everyone in your downline using SFI's Mailing System. This way the message gets sent to everyone at once, including your not so active members who may get inspired by the thought of winning something.
