First, search engines may not list a site that is clearly an affiliate URL with long numbers and letters. What good is having a site if nobody can find it?

Second, you want people to remember what you are promoting. A URL like howtohaveyour.sixfigureincome.com may be long, but is more memorable than something with long numbers and too many slashes. If you use Blog Talk Radio or other audio means of advertising SFI, it is easier to say and easier understood by your listeners. If you use a magnetic car sign, you want people to be able to remember the URL if they see it while driving and cannot stop and write it down.

There is a third, and most important reason for having a Custom Prestige Domain. When you have either Won or Purchased the Custom Prestige Domain product – you first need to set up the Domains (you get a total of 5). There are a wonderful selection of Genre’s and some name selections to choose from so select the ones you have an interest in (ie. Music downloads).

Once you have selected your Domain Names you can set a Key Code to each one – this is helpful when checking your Genealogy reports - the Key Code indicates which gateway or advertisement the signups come from.

After you have completed these few steps you are set to go – SFI does all the site design and input for you. It is now up to you to advertise your various Prestige Domains over the internet.

One way is to set up a shortened url for each domain – check out sites like tinyurl.com or bitly.com they offer people the (free) opportunity to reduce long, hard to remember domain name urls to much smaller combinations (I have a small journal where I write the long domain name url and beside it the new smaller url, so I can keep track of them).

You can then go to any site-builder or promotional site and once you have joined them place your url’s, emails, banners or text ads for promotion on that site, then go to the next site and repeat. Most sites are free to join and the only requirement to get your ads, banners, url’s, etc circulated is that you either surf their ads or read the emails you get sent to earn credits with which to “pay” for your advertisements.

When you buy or win Custom Prestige Domains, you have the opportunity to make your gateways and other webpages memorable.

I think it is best to use them where people will see them and remember them--at least until they can write it down. Such places are car signs, window signs, and yard signs.

For example: You are driving, and you see a sign on a car that says: ba.HomeBusinessMillionaire.com. Think you can remember that? Or you walk by a car in a parking lot that says freestuff.ezInfoCenter.com. You think you'll remember where to get the free stuff? Same goes for windows on cars or on buildings and homes.

Inexpensive yard signs are available. Give your neighbors some free TCredits for letting you post a sign in their yard. I'm sure you can do better than this idea: BuyAndSell.ezInfoCenter.com. This goes to my TripleClicks page.

Use these anywhere you want your url to be memorable. Use them on flyers, print ads, business cards, on your signature email, forum signature, and article biobox. If you are doing video ads, hosting a seminar, use these urls. They are easier to remember and there will be less mistakes in typing in the url. That means you'll get more visitors.

The fun part is choosing the words. When you get your Custom Prestige Domain, you'll get to choose which ones you want. Then you make them your own.

Custom Prestige Domains are domain names registered by SFI which do not bear the name of SFI nor TripleClicks. There are 13 of them right now.

When you buy or win Custom Prestige Domain you will be given 5 sub-domain of your choice from any of the 13 main domains. Then you can link this sub-domain to any of your gateway. All of these are done inside your domain manager.

When you advertise you can use these sub-domains instead of your gateway. Now, what is the best way to use these? that is this question is all about.

1. If you want to use this in social websites like Face book or Twitter DO NOT link your sub domain on the gateways that are already blocked by the social media. So the best way is to link it to gateways that have not blocked yet.

2. The best way to use those blocked gateways to connect to your Prestige (sub)domains are in forum and other sites where you can see are already saturated with SFI ads or you just want to be different.

I use custom domain names in my ads because they are more responsive to what SFI is about.
I use them for Captions to pictures when I want to invite someone to click on the picture. Custom domain names are more descriptive than the gateways.
I use them in descriptions, blogging posts, reviews and PR writings.
I use them any place I want to make an impression where I feel the regular gateways would fall short of what I want to convey.
I use them in advertising emails to my list as preferable to the gateways. There are so many custom domain names, and you can change them to what suits the current situation.

While I was writing this, I was thinking that if I used the custom domain name in a message to some of my downline, they might click on it and become interested in SFI again. I would use the newest gateway if I did that so they get a different impression than they did when they joined. I would make the email an ad expressed by the custom domain name.
