There is a benefit to the sender (upline), a benefit to the receiver (down line) and a benefit to the PSA re-assigned.
a. I have 381 Generation 1 PSAs. If I give some away, that are inactive, maybe with more personal and individual attention they will become active. The receiver has few PSAs, if any, and can give them more individual attention.
b. I can not financially offer incentives to everyone, giving some away allows me to share the incentive cost. When someone makes Fast Track I send them 2 TCredits and encourage them to buy the duplication paper (item 187187) with one of the credits. This prepares him for the patience and endurance needed in the slow but sure growth created by duplication. I have many that make Fast Track. So I am not able to offer new incentives to those who do not. If I pass these PSAs on maybe they can get better incentives from someone with just a few PSAs.
c. It builds trust, a sense that I will help and a sense that I do care about my affiliates. And any new affiliate loves seeing some PSAs showing up.
d. I look for geographic, or language commonalities between the PSAs I send, and the PSAs that receive the reassignment. For example I have a Brazilian doing very well and who is very capable. I give him my Brazilian PSAs if they become inactive. He can teach, train and communicate in Portuguese and they are much more responsive.
e. We are a team. So I try to help us work together. The receiver may have skills, interests, perspective or maybe just a style to which the latent affiliate comes alive. They may be better at following up this particular person than I am. We, as a team need to leverage each of our strengths.
f. Much is learned by the receiving PSA as he/she tries to stimulate and motivate a latent affiliate. The receiving PSA can start putting together a small library of emails that he/she will use with all their affiliates in the future.
g. I do not dump and run. If I pass on affiliates I have a few requirements. Read the articles on being a good sponsor. Develop at least the initial skills and knowledge needed to help this latent affiliate engage in minimal online advertising. And have a willingness to engage, not sit and watch, the new affiliate. This engagement will increase the receivers engagement over all with SFI.
