This is a very important question since our success in SFI realy lays on the kind of team we build and the activity going on in our separate teams.
As a team leader, I think it is very healthy to get and stay in touch with our downline on a regular basis.
It has been said, and we will not get weary of saying that Communication is Key to our success. We will use all and every tool possible to keep the communication going consistently within our teams.
I would summarize the answer in the following points:
1 - First impression:
I was unfortunately not impressed by my personal sponsor upon joining SFI - and that is not the perfect example to follow as Team Leaders. We need to show a sign of life to our new affiliates as soon as we can. I would say within 48 hours to the maximum. People need to have the impression that they are following a real human being just like themselves. That 2 minute Skype video call could mean a lot to your business. The impression it makes is far greater than the best worded and motivational email you could send. So Get in touch and speak to your affilliate as soon as the time is right for that
2 - Constant Communication:
Part of this point is presented above. We need to communicate to our downline, and be consistent. Put that to practice to the benefit of your organization.
3 - Rewards and incentives:
Make sure you NEVER let the accomplishment of your most active movers go unnoticed. The new "DUPLICATION BOOSTER" packages are a super great way to get serious affiliates on fire. And when they do get on fire it will fire back on you as the upline sponsor/co-sponsor. You can also award Gift Certificates, MRP / TC Points, reassignments, and so on. Feel free to be creative. So keep your eyes on the Genealogy or most effectively, your movers list within the To-Do list.
4 - Availability:
You need to make all your affiliates feel that they can reach you anytime anyday. When they know that you are ready and even HUNGRY for their questions, that motivates them to remain active and to follow your example. That will as well create great new Team Leaders. Duplication is the key. If you are not a good Team Leader, you most likely will not be able to create good ones, unless they are highly motivated and self disciplined enough to fly on their own.
Remember, if you do what others won't
You will have what others want.
