The first group that comes to mind is my friends and relatives. I know each of them and know what interests them and can tell them about the cards and business in terms they will be interested in. But these are the most critical of the groups. They know my weaknesses, and will watch as I progress with my SFI.
The second group are the people with who I have or have had contact with. They remember me but don't know me and are less likely to hold my weaknesses against me. They are more apt to respect my ideas and to look to see what I have to offer. These are wait staff at restaurants, tellers, store clerks, club members, and people from church.
The strangers are people you chance to meet and will not meet again, or very rarely, unless they join SFI or TC. Some of these people you can find out their names, others not. You might run across them from an ad, a road trip, a bulletin board or business card holder. You never know who is looking for more income, or for another internet mall.
No matter which group you are working, be wise and prudent when giving these cards out. You are investing $1.00 of your own money into the future of this person. Is he really looking for more income, and willing to do the work necessary?
And don't forget to do the follow up on the first and second groups. People forget they have the card, or are leery to look into the web-site. Encourage them several times.
