I think that the best method to motivate your downline is to:
1)make a real promises to your downline:
for example inform your downline this info:
-"Become an Executive Affiliate within the end of this month and I will buy for you 5 new Affiliates from Co-op".
- "Become an IAHBE member and I will give you 20 Tcredits at the end of this month"
- etc...
2) Inform your downline that the Business provided by SFI is the best for all REAl internet marketing in the globe.
3) Inform your downline that the winner should work hardly to success this business.

As an upline, you are a leader and leadership entails a lot of skills. To motivate your downline exhibit the following leadership traits:

1. Communicate with them constantly.
2. Help build their own network.
3. Help them with tools.
4. Be real about the business with them.
5. Be a teacher.
6. Encourage them.
7. Remind them of what they need do at all times.

Have you heard the phrase, "duplication is the sincerest form of flattery?" I believe the best way to motivate your downline is to prove that the system works by showing them, by example, on how the upline works the system and the rewards they get by working the system.

Sometimes people get the idea of the business when watching it work for someone else.

First: Contact them by Chat, Skype, Telephone or email and find out what their needs are. AND find out who they are, what they do for income, number of people in the family, what they do for fun. Ask , "What got you interested in signing up for SFI?".

Once you have established a relationship, then you can offer a reward: TC Gift Cards etc.

The best motivation for your downline is WHEN YOU MOTIVATE YOURSELF. If your downline sees that you are working, that you are always giving them support and helping them in everything they do not understand, that you are learning more and more about SFI, advertising etc. then you can motivate your downline even when you not doing that directly. Tell me if I wrong, but that is the secondary way to motivate your downline. The primary way to motivate them is, when they know in every moment that they can always count on you. Be direct to them. You need to tell them that they are doing great (do not lie to them, be honest). If they are not active in SFI, remind your downline that this is not "quick scheme for earning". This is not a race...Who will do it first". And NEVER, I repeat NEVER criticize them! They are your friends and partners. You help each other.

This is something I am trying. I will let you know the results if you are interested.

I sent the message below to all the people from on country in my organization.

I went to A2A, clicked the search Button. Searched on Country I wanted, and sorted by Last Login. The result was every SFI person in that country and the most active first. I then looked for someone who looked successful based on rank. Then I went to the profile to see if they had badges that would motivate my people. I friended him and asked if he would help my people in his country. He said yes.

Then I went to genealogy,clicked the geography tab in the second filter button I filtered by country and got 75 affiliates. Then clicked "Send an email to this group of 75 affiliates" sending this:

~FIRSTNAME~

I have 75 affiliates in my organization who are from your country. of this 75 only 13 have scored any points here in February. Why?

Is there a unique struggle for you to succeed here at SFI? Is it just a cash flow problem? What might it be?

Well I met a good man, HIS NAME, who is from your home country. He is a Gold Team Leader. He has been in the business since Dec 2012, only a couple months, but is very successful already.

I have asked and he has agreed to help anyone who seeks his advice.

May I suggest you connect with him in A2A. To do so go to your A2A tab. You must first register to be an A2A user, if you haven't already. You will get 60 points for just that.

Then in A2A, Click the search button. On the page that comes up type into the User Name block HIS NAME, scroll down and click search.

Then you will see HIS profile picture, click on it and his Profile snapshot will open with an option under his picture to be his A2A friend.

Once you are friends you can do this same thing and under the profile picture will be a button that says, "send a message". Introduce yourself and get the help you need.

Get all the help you can to reach your goals. Do not let anything stop you.

Lead by example.. When you get thru the ranks people start to take notice and ask how you did it. Then you have a open line of communication.

Encourage them to do their to-do-list daily as this will help to motivate them to work harder when they see the points adding up. I like to remind them that any business you own you will have to advertise to let people know that you are there. The difference with SFI is that we get all the tips and advertising products for FREE!
This is about all you can do as this is their business. Just don't give up on them.

I find a daily encouraging message works and keep them believing in themselves and stay focused. Another way is to reward them with a gift card. This makes them feel important and gives them the feeling of self worth.

The best way to motivate your downline is first to let them know that you adknowledge that they are there. When I say this, you have to always give them the ATTENTION that they need. When they have a problem, you have to be willing to LISTEN, and be willing to do all that you can to HELP them out.

You have to gain your downline's CONFIDENCE in you. Once they gain this CONFIDENCE in you this is a true MOTIVATION for them to want to DUPLICATE you and bring more people in to increase your downline.

A big word of advice is to not tell someone to do something if they don't see you doing it. This is a big turn off. In other words, "Practice What You Preach."
