Don't give up on people. You don't want to push anyone, or send too many emails to them or they will reject your efforts, but even if they don't respond, as long as they are still a part of your team, continue to send them a weekly email of some kind...Hi, just checking in, is there anything I can do to help get you started, I'm always available if you have questions, etc.
In advertising or marketing of any kind, you generally won't get a persons response the first few times they see your add or your newsletter or your flyers or business cards. On average it takes at least 5 to 10 times for someone to see your add before they really take note of it.
Ten years ago I started a Janitorial Service here in my area. At first I didn't get much business so I began to advertise, pass out business cards, flyers, emails, etc. I continued to do this, even though it didn't seem to be working. I built a website and put it on all the traffic engines, social networks, free classifieds, etc. For the first few years I got very little response, but I didn't give up. I got a logo and put my business name and logo everywhere. It took a long time and a lot of repeated effort, but here I am today, 10 years later, with a very successful Janitorial Service. People in my area know my logo and name and I get a lot of referrals now and all because I did not give up.
Treat your CSA's the same, meaning, don't give up. Continue to try to reach out to them, even if they have not responded. It only takes a few minutes to send an email and for every ten people who don't respond, you may eventually get one who does and you can work with. After all, you don't need hundreds of CSA's to make money, you just need a few good movers to build a strong team and good income.
Of course, concentrate on the movers, to make your team strong, but do not give up on the ones not responding either because you may find a diamond among all those grains of sand if you keep at it.
