To present SFI/TC opportunities to potential customers without overselling. You must first know what your customers are interested in by conducting surveys branded by SFI or TC.
This will allow you to decide what kinds or people are interested in your product or service. In addition by branding your surveys, this will act as another promotional tool to further attract potential customers.
You can use email and social chat sites such as Facebook and Community websites like Youtube as a tool to distribute your surveys. You may want to give out leaflets too.
The kinds of information that you will need to collect from your potential customers will be determined on the questions you ask. Try not to ask close questions: yes or no questions. Avoid those kinds of questions as they are boring and thus bore your interviewee. You need to ask open questions, the kinds of questions that will provide you detailed answers to help you better understand your target market's interest towards your product or service.
If they are not interested in your product or service, then maybe you need to change your product or service. Remember, never assume your customer is wrong. You provide for them. They do not provide for you. Make them happy, then mostly likely, hopeful you will be paid.
Remember, you also must be presentable, not just give interesting and presentable questionnaires or surveys. People respond better to brave and presentable and professional people who know what they are talking about. Be the person they can trust. By increasing the level of trust between buyer and seller there is a higher chance for more repeat customers thus more profit for you.
