The first and main thing is to have a monthly budget. PPC can be very costly especially to someone who doesn't really know what they are doing yet.

Start out with just a couple keywords or phrases and see which ones work and which ones don't. There are days that will generate more hits than others just the same as there are certain times of days that will generate more hits than others. Once you start seeing a pattern then you can start narrowing down your advertising to the days and times

First of all I affirm that you are in the right direction with looking for more affiliates even to the point of investing money for PPC. Many affiliates here in SFI are pouring all their energy in gathering VP and not attending to the right foundation which is tons affiliates.

There are 3 important things to prepare if a newbie want to launch into PPC.
1. Your budget. - approximately it cost $0.75 to $2 per sign-up for SFI program. But of course nothing is guaranteed.
2. The

One of the biggest things to watch out for is the ability to pause and edit your ad.
If you make a mistake, pay for the advertising, some places do not allow a change to the ad, or the ability to pause the campaign to make adjustments or correct errors.

One of the handiest things to have is your own domain, where you can create your own splash pages, and leads collection pages, as well as have the ability to track hits to your pages, and any activity generated by your advertising.

One tip that you must try first:

Choose the PPC that gives you points and money. You must make sure that you can use those points for free advertising SFI and Tripleclicks. Use your gateways with the free banners and text ads supplied by SFI and Tripleclicks. Some of the sites even let you use splash pages.

PPC appears to offer a simple solution - paid ads to drive people to your website. But used on its own it actually fails companies because:

1: It's a short-term fix
2: It is brand-unaware

You can use PPC to create a lasting relationship, but it's not that common. I agree there are other ways to do that but multi-channel analytics is just proving that PPC is ONE of the main ways to reach the public.

I have been trying this and "surfing" for points to submit my SFI pages. It is a complete waste of time, in my opinion! Rather get out there and find some free sites to advertise on
After joining various "pay per click" and "surfing" my inbox just got jammed up with spam.
Happy Hunting!

There are so many factors that go into PPC advertising. I know it looks pretty simple when you see those ads pop up every time you you do a search, but it can get pretty complicated and expensive. You need to do plenty of research before you jump in. Google for example will give you $50 in ad credits when you sign up. Use it to actually see what happens when you place an ad and how fast the credits go out.

You have to be careful where you place these ads. I once had $200 disappear in just

Few ideas on Pay Per Click:
In contrast to the generalized portal, which seeks to drive a high volume of traffic to one site, PPC implements the so-called affiliate model, that provides purchase opportunities wherever people may be surfing. It does this by offering financial incentives (in the form of a percentage of revenue) to affiliated partner sites. The affiliates provide purchase-point click-through to the merchant. It is a pay-for-performance model: If an affiliate does not generate sales,
