First I tell them to earn at least 500VP for the next 24 hours to get 500 bonus. All the task to earn these points are found in TO-DO list. Then I tell them that the more points you ear the more income you have. So make it a point to earn points everyday. Make daily schedule for it. Then don't forget to learn as you earn. Getting Affiliates that will be doing daily tasks on regular basics depends on one main thing "WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THE AFFILIATES FROM?" Yes, you must put this into consideration. Another thing to consider is "ARE YOU A GOOD LEADER?". Keep advertising some advertising methods brings many low quality signups while some brings few high quality signups. Know what you want and work towards it... after all, we all want a good and responsive team to work with so better go for the quality signups. Most of the things here is about trial and error. If one you've tried didn't work well, try another. If others can be successful, i see no reason why you can't if you work hard. Communicate with your team, check their VP Ledgers, offer to help them, reward them with incentives, set contests, etc. Keep working and learning every day. Do not ever give up!

I find that most people will do something when they see they will benefit from it. So besides being a good role model I think it encourages new affiliates to know why it's important for them to get there daily vp.
Simply put you want vp to get commission. There are guidelines to follow and one them is to qualify for Executive Affiliate status by getting 1500vp or more by the end of the month. And a great help to reach that EA status is to get all the free vp you can by doing their daily tasks.

I think the most important for the beginining is to explane them gentley that SFI has many programs for incomes, that can be acheaved only in daily fullfilling the tasks. Many of the new affiliates are "stressed" (at the begining) by the powerfull and reach sections in SFI with jobs to be done. Reminde them to read carefully (not only click for VPs!!) on lessons in Launchpad. Give them some easy steps to fullfill in sections of their SFIHomepage - especially those, that will bring them more than 1 VP. Incorage them untill they begin fill themselves "familier" in SFI. After that they will ask you less questions and will evaluate you hight.Of course the most important is to be ready for help (as soon as possible) anytime they contact you.

This question can generate so many answers as SFI is a business serving people. So I would encourage you to review the following in your business practice so as to successfully get the response that is so desired through your downline:
1. What is made publicly known about your business practice/habits to your down line so that they can duplicate how you check on your business daily - document it via the Team mailer so it is shared,
2. What tips have you found helpful from conversations through A2A - share them,
3. Down line team members are part of the business so attempt to engage in communication about what their goals are and how SFI is a means to an end for those goals,
4. Share your peaks and valleys about your business experience so everyone can see from your experience that success is an incremental journey.
5. Share your story on your blog posting on the Leadership Page so members in your down line can go there to review strategies and/or receive motivational goodies.
6. I believe this to be the most important - acknowledge team member's efforts as their time is as precious as anyone else's.

tell them your here to help them through the initial process to just simply log in and do the basic everyday until they feel confortable finding information like logging in to the forums and entering every day to win money and prizes and doing the launch pad series for more insight and wishing them good luck in their quest to feel confident themselves
I use the PSA and CSA internal messaging facility. You can send all referrals a message in block. It keeps you in touch with them, which they like, and it appears professional. Just tell them that to benefit, they should log in daily and go to their TO DO LIST and do the daily tasks to earn the points. It works for me.
A good way to do that is to create a chart or system that monitors your affiliates earnings and give the top three earning ones prizes. For example you could give them gift cards or memberships or something like that, just a reward that will help influence people and that will let them create a goal to be a top earning affiliate. I hope I helped.

If your affiliates believe you that SFI has potential, then it should be easier to get them interested in creating a daily habit. Ask them to save the Web-page to their desktop so it would always get in their vision when starting up the computer, and they will not forget to log in. You will have more active affiliates in no time, VP will be pouring in. :)
