Has anyone tried the paid Facebook advertising and, if so, did it work/was it was worth the cost?

I tried doing every kind of advertising on Facebook for SFI & one other network and there has not been any success. Facebook has blocked these links even if you cloak it (I tried). I would not waste my time with Facebook advertising for SFI, or anything for that matter, because if it's not blocked, its overpriced. Instead, I created a page for my network and they can't block that. You can still get "likes" and you can put more info on the page than you can fit in the sponsored advertising

I made very Fantastic blog to advertise Tripleclicks and SFI and did add of it. I was getting good number of visits but not much signups. I was finding what is the lake in my page, finally i got it. I used attractive banners made by me on my blog and my contact information , by which people directly asking me about the system of SFI, what to do, how to start and all

Paid Advertising on Facebook especially for SFI doesn't work for me but useful features such as the Fan Pages work to add fans and provide content to them.
Once you have created a huge following, you can use your fan page to connect with others and prospects through a wide variety of functions like posting on your “wall”, asking them questions or posting up videos, photos and content of interest to your niche.
The best thing is, whenever you post something on your Fan page wall, all

Facebook has policy to dis-approve SFI paid ads. In first attempt for $10, I came to know this and then I stopped completely. Other than paid ads, there are many free ads pages and even my own page at Facebook, I am advertising without any problem. So better save your money.

I tried paid advertising on Facebook a couple of months ago. I had a $100 credit to use and thought I would give it a try. I used ads from the marketing section here on SFI and got no results. Once that was done I began Posting my gateway links on Facebook as well as anywhere else I can think of, blogs, links shares, etc... and I have seen much better results from those postings than I got from the paid adverts. Don't forget also that you can advertise for free with flyers, cards, etc... There are

I personally have not tried the paid advertising with Facebook, but what I have been learning from SFI and the SFI Community and also from else where, was if you want to place ads on Facebook, instead of having a Personal account with Facebook to have a FanPage with Facebook. I myself have not checked into that, I'm still doing research. I also read somewhere within the SFI Community to Place your ad like a photo. I took that as making a flyer with all your info, scan your flyer to your pc, then

Facebook is good if you just want "exposure" but it's horrible to get actual sales or signups. People on Facebook are on Facebook just to "hang out" and play Farmville and post pictures of themselves and talk about their day. They really aren't there to respond to advertisers. I've tried 2 different businesses with Facebook advertising and wasted a lot of money. :(

Yes, I've tried it and it pays. It has worked for me and it's worth the cost. One thing that we should remember is the fact there will be no one way of advertising that will work for all of us. Each one of us has his/her area where he/she will excel. Facebook worked for me and it doesn't mean that it will work for the entire fraternity at SFI. Some of the things I like with Facebook is the fact that you set your budget for advertising and hence how much you pay for a click. You limit your audience

I have tried FaceBook but its rather not yielding the expected results. Most of what I did was to use my website to draw friends then decided to carry out a direct email contacts placing SFI Banners on it.This has yielded such an amazing result.I also decided to use my church platform where the best the best media connector of the month is given some prize. I trying to use the numerous members that are connecting to this to get to know about SFI. This would do much for me. I encourage you to do same.

I don't do paid advertising on Facebook as this site is mainly used for social purposes and most of its users are just there to keep tabs on what's happening with other peoples lives :) But I do post some achievements and other good things happening at SFI and Tripleclicks and I got a few clicks to the gateway but not really that significant as most just look at the gateway like a status update and never signed up.

I only use Facebook to talk to some of my acquaintances through PM and
