You have two questions here.

First, why do so many people join SFI and then do nothing? Because it's easy to join, but the next step is a lot harder if you're an internet newbie. Many who join simply do not understand the incredible value that is available at SFI, and they don't understand how to put the parts together to make it work.

Those who don't understand the value are like a native on a remote island. You can show them a $100 bill and explain to them that they can buy lots of stuff with that money. But if they don't understand the concept of money, they're going to just see a colorful piece of paper and not the underlying value.

And putting the parts together is like giving someone all the parts to build a scooter in a box. If they don't have mechanical skills or don't have any idea how to use tools, then the parts in that box are never going to be assembled to create a working scooter.

What should you do about it? Your job is to help your downline understand the value of SFI and overcome the mechanical challenges. Telling someone to create an ad is simple, but if they've never done it before it can be an overwhelming obstacle. Take the time to break it down into simple steps to show them how to do it.

And finally, help them to understand that the action they take today is simply one part of a long series of actions they need to take. Results don't come from an individual action, but from the cumulative actions over a period of time.

Many people join looking for a get rich quick scheme. If you have people under you who have joined but remain inactive the best you can do is send them encouraging messages regularly to try to inspire them to be more active. Sometimes a little encouragement along with hints and tips offered regularly are enough to make them give SFI another chance.

First, I am glad you posed this question. Be sure to introduce yourself to your team and stay in constant communication with them. Provide them tools, remind them of what is available from SFI to help them learn and grow their SFI business. Lead by example. You need to be an awesome sponsor – optimism is contagious.
Make sure every affiliate you sponsor has checked out the To-Do List at their SFI homepage. Assist them as they proceed through these steps! Make sure their questions are answered. GETTING STARTED IS THE HARDEST PART OF ANY JOURNEY. Your job as a sponsor or a co-sponsor is to be available to your team members. Make sure that you are there to offer friendly guidance and support in a timely manner as your personally sponsored affiliates (PSAs) start out on their journey.
Note! NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, at least half of your affiliates will NOT become successful.
This is not a reflection of you or SFI. It's just the hard, cold reality that most people will not make the commitment and do the work necessary to succeed. Accept and acknowledge this.
ALL WE CAN DO IS GIVE PEOPLE A TRACK TO RUN ON. WE CANNOT, HOWEVER, DRAG THEM ACROSS THE FINISH LINE!! They have to want it.
In short, support your affiliates, be there for them as much as you can (especially at the start), but don't waste time trying to get people to do something who clearly aren't motivated.
Instead, and this is VERY IMPORTANT—when you identify someone on your team who IS motivated, someone who IS willing to learn and apply themselves to achieve success, CONNECT WITH THEM WITHOUT DELAY! These are diamonds in the rough! Make sure they have everything they need. Support them with passion! If you do so, someday they may make you rich!

Many people join SFI without really understanding what it is they are joining. They see an opportunity to make money from home on the internet and it costs nothing to join. That is an appealing idea - make money without going to work and without having to outlay anything to get started. Why wouldn't anyone join?

Then after they join, they wander about the site a bit and discover that the money doesn't actually fall into their laps; they have to DO something first to get any. Some don't even confirm their registration because they decide that this opportunity is not what they thought it was, or that it doesn't suit them.

A few work very hard and flat out for the first few days and make EA in their first month or even day. It is possible to make EA the first time without having to spend a cent or sell anything. However the second month is harder - once all the Launchpad exercises are done and reading the various articles that earn VP, they realise that to maintain EA means buying and or selling. Here is where the hard work starts and where many more people drop out. They don't have the money to pay for a Standing Order, and they aren't inclined to do all the extra study in learning how to market.

Perhaps they have negligent sponsors and co-sponsors who ignore them without offering any help or advice at all. (This is obviously not the reason your or my PSAs drop out!)

Apart from being the best sponsor you can be by offering frequent help and advice as well as motivating with incentives such as competitions and awards for achievements, there is not a lot you can do about it. Keep on writing to them via the team mailer and hope that they will respond. Chances are if they've done nothing, then your efforts will be in vain because they have decided to find something else. As they say, "you can drag a horse to water, but you can't make him drink."

However I send emails to my whole group in the hope that they might just bother to read one of them and respond. To those who ask questions and do respond, answer them as soon as possible so that they are not kept in limbo and try and keep them active. If someone was active for a while and then you see they haven't logged in for a while, send them a friendly note asking how they are - they could be sick or have a sick child or something going on in their lives that is keeping them otherwise occupied. Show them that you care and they may come back.

In the end though you have to be willing to let people go - there is no such thing as a one size fits all business. Hang in there yourself and eventually you will build a team of people who share your vision and work as hard as you do. (I hope!)

See now a days there are many ways to earn money on internet. People in SFI who are well settled and digested the concepts of SFI will promote SFI to let other join. To earn good income people inviting their friends and family also doing advertising to many places. Now its not necessary that all people can digest the concepts and go with rules. All have their own mind, some people cant work due to personal problems , some cant give sufficient time , some don’t want to work more and want to earn huge income quickly etc. Even some times problem of their inactive sponsor. So everyday more than 2000 people join SFI but only 50-60 work on First day and finally 15-20 for a long.

Now what you can do is motivate that people who join under you and want to earn genuine income. You need to give them support by every means. You can send them welcome letter immediately after their signup which can give them very basic overview of SFI. Then you need to make strong bond of relation by helping them at every stage of difficulties. Because when this Strong bond will establish they will never go far from SFI which is in your benefit also. There are many things to attract your downline like Gift certificate, ECA program, Priceblander etc. So you can do everything to make your team stronger. Hope this information will help you.

Most people join SFI thinking that they'll get rich quickly with a minimum of effort, but lose interest when they discover that it is a REAL business requiring time effort and perseverence to succeed.

I believe that only about 1 in 30 people who sign up for SFI realise it's enormous potential and work the business, and although this does not sound a lot, remember that with only 5 active affiliates in your downline, you have a thriving business.

A lot of people join SFI and then do nothing. I feel terribly disappointed when I see people that I respect join and back off after a while. I think in my opinion they all wanted to start hearing or receiving big money immediately. Some even sign up and never visit the site again. I have many of such. But what I do is send them regular attractive and encouraging mails. For the ones that are close to your location, you can call them up on phone or meet with them to discuss.I think that's just it.

I believe many, if not most, people join thinking they are in a get-rich scheme. It doesn't seem to occur to them that they are starting a real business and thus don't treat it as such!
Although I certainly understand your frustration, I support the other answers. Never give up. Stay in contact with everyone and by your perserverance you show that SFI is trustworthy and far more than a fly-by-night.

A very good question. Please do not allow this question to be inspired by thinking that you are responsible for the fact that "so many do nothing".

Statistics will learn that no matter what you try only a small 5% will make it to the top on the long run.

The rest of them are "doomed" to give up somewhere on their proper road to success. This might happen for several reasons.

Such as:
- their expectations where/are not in balance with the efforts they are prepared to deliver.

- Another group " I call them Searchers", are doing nothing else then running around on the internet and do nothing else than "searching",searching for THAT one and only opportunity,that will make them rich in a jiffy.One day they land on the page of SFI and they see that so many people from all over the world register every day,every hour,every minute.So that's it,"if so many are ready to go with SFI ,we also should give it a try".Alas of course they start with the wrong attitude. SFI never promise they gone get rich in a blink of the eye,in the contrary SFI says "we are the best that could happen to you,our system will work for you,if you WORK with the system".Reason why at some moment they quit,because they missing the necessary persistency !

-The rest form a group of people where the main reasons,I believe must be located in a lack of basic knowledge of English ,because whatever one may think it is one of the principal reasons that a lot of people quit,although they can use pc translation programs ,that does not allow them to communicate with so many people who mainly speak their own native language,that I would call collateral "dammage" every global operational company should expect to be confronted with.The other part must be mainly situated in a category of people which alas figured it out that "technically" they have not the skills to work with an advanced system as SFI offers.

The conclusion:

We have to live and accept that phenomenon and praise ourselves lucky to be a part of a company that by its system is able to deliver us the indispensable quantity,allowing us to filter with the help of the company the necessary quality to continue and maintain our own way to the top .
