Advertising gateways could be so frustrating for a newbie especially if there is lack of financial resource.
Depending on your inexperienced downline's budget whether he/she can plug straight into paid advert, they can start off with local one-on-one recruitment and referals.
Charity they say begins at home. They can also start with warm marketing promoting their gateways to family, friends and co-workers if possible.
This actually begins to build a momentum and confidence for them to

I would hold their hand and show them exactly what to do. In fact, I have put together a spreadsheet that I constantly update which has over 500 free advertising resources, along with promo codes for each site to garner more advertising from each site. I would tell them that it won't be a glamorous job, in fact, it may be downright tedious...but go through each site, one by one, and dot the land with Banners, text ads and solo ads that all point back to your gateways. I would tell them to advertise

First of all I would say,
try SBuilder Coop by participate with your sponsor;

Buy a standing order yourself as S-Builder and ad your affiliates if you have some or co-sponsor affiliates; do it 3 month,

analyse and do more and better.

Go to several marketing site which offer exchange links so send people to your SFI site.

Go to a free rotator site where you send also people to sfi link.
Do it again and again,
Teach your co-sponsor and

This is a good question - thanks for sharing your concerns. Internet marketing like riding a bicycle has to be learned. While I understand that every newbie is overwhelm by the vastness of opportunities on the net as well as the everyday pressures to pay the bills, this is where effective sponsorship will make all the difference in the world.

Therefore, as effective team leaders, we must connect with affiliates asap - within the first 24 to 48 hours. Most newbies don't have the focus

Work with movers, whom really show some interest by logging in and try to do something. And they are responding your messages. Better to use skype to guide them. To make them proceeding with advertising, communicate regularly and share your experince. Consider some points as below:
1. Start with free ads sources, guide them to give some knowledge and experience.
2. Their family, friends, class or work mates will be better for a good start.
3. When you feel that they are doing well

First consider your PERFECT customer...

You know their likes and dislikes
you know their wants and needs
you know what they're able to spend and what they're willing to spend
you know their favorite color, food, size, hobbies, family and other interests.

That perfect customer is yourself... If you can't sell to yourself, you will NEVER be able to sell consistently to ANYONE else.

BEFORE you worry about selling though, you first want to lay the foundation

The first major task for a newbie in this online business is to get to understand what it's all about. The fact that its bloodline is versapoints should be over emphasized together with the implication of acquiring them. After this orientation, then get to the point of knowing what should be advertised and finally to the ways, means and where to advertise.

First of all, I would advise the person to purchase shares of S-Builder, if possible. This will build VP and also to advertise the gateway sites. I would also invite the person to join any co-ops you are a member of or reward the affiliate if he/she becomes an EA or higher. Advertising to warm market by talking to family and friends on the phone or in person is another great way to get started. As the person grows in resources and confidence, then launching out into other ways of advertising

the first thing to decide is how much you would like to spend.
then compile a different list of ways of advertising
add and frree methods and special offers
for example
word of mouth it is free
add a message to your emails - free
visit small business and get them to sell onTripleclicks - free
design and publish a web site - or get a frind to help usually - low cost $5
passing out SFI cards and leaving them where ever you go - low cost
ad words from google

Always concentrate on text ads, don't try anything flashy, the simple things always work the best. Always remember to track your ads so that the ones that are performing the best are the ones you go for time and time again. Don't expect fantastic results - remember steady as she goes is the best policy - consider the tortoise and the hare, the tortoise is slow and dedicated but wins over the hare who is very quick but soon gives up
