Since each of us are individuals and communicate individually, an exact verbal presentation isn't going to come across naturally and therefore won't produce results. However, there are certain guidelines that are proven to work.

1. First, make sure you are familiar with the ECA program so you are prepared to answer any questions about it.
2. Dress Professionally- Casual Business is acceptable.
3. Bring a brochure (make sure your SFI id is included) and attach your business card to it (not required but is more professional). Also, attach a letterhead IF you are approaching a large business and need to leave the information for management. See https://www.sfimg.com/Training/ECAStrategies for ideas on writing a letter.
4. Small to medium size businesses are easier to approach the owners, who are most likely going to be the ones to make the decision. When possible, you want to speak with the owner or store manager.
5. Choose businesses with whom you are already a customer with when possible. It is easier to approach them with something like "I've been a customer for a long time..." They are more likely to listen also. You can mention your favorite products.

You must describe all the benefits of joining as an ECA directly as anyone will be first interested in the same only. Try to win their hearts with a simple, easy words which are obviously nothing less than 100% truth and surely if your presentation contains all the benefits and the person infront of you has even a little knowledge of doing the business, then he/she would surely bring colours to your efforts.
