Every businesses Online needs a place to call home. That home is your website and that is where your visitors or traffic visit.
I did a little research and discovered that most SFI successful team leaders have their own websites for SFI business. There's lots of great reasons why you need your own site but these are my best.
BEST REASONS WHY YOU NEED ONE
You can get noticed easily by search engines by Adding your own content on a regular and continued basis. You can use articles your affiliates submit, providing exposure for them, along with a link back to their SFI Gateway or personal Website.
By setting up a form on your Web page, this allows you to collect visitors' names and e-mail addresses. Set the form to post the information to your Auto-responder e.g Aweber, Getresponse, Icontact etc or a database on your site. Make sure to check with your Web host for instructions on setting this up.
Improves Credibility. For your SFI business to have more Impact and better results you need to improve on your credibility as an Internet marketer and as an SFI Team Leader.Having your own website enhances that.
With Your Own website, You can provide helpful FAQs for your team members, providing a simple page in which to direct your new affiliates for questions. I have seen this work great with most team leaders here in SFI.
The Internet evolves every often so creating your own site allows you to learn a lot about today's technology and gain experience from it. So as it evolves, you evolve with it and are not caught by surprise. As you grow more confident with running your own site and online business, you can pass this valuable knowledge on to others.
The skills learned from setting up your own online business and website can be sold in the form of content for other sites. For example E-books on how to drive massive traffic, how to design landing or squeeze pages etc
Having your own website gives you the freedom to present and emphasize the information you want the way you want to. You create your own brand and personalize it. You become an expert in a certain area of marketing that you decide to master.
You can set up a blog on your site. You get to learn how to use CPanel, hosting etc Posting to your blog on a regular basis will improve your site's exposure on the search engines and that is a very beautiful thing indeed.
There was a question asked previously about whether it is OK to have a Forum in another language. Yes it is and I would like to add that, You can create a forum where your SFI team members can find and help one another or You could help them all if you like. You could even make a private forum for your SFI Team Members only.
One other great reason is that You can host a site for your "technology challenged" affiliates. It could be as simple as just another page within your main Website. For instance, you could create "sfihighrollers.com/XXXX," where XXXX is affiliate's SFI ID. You could also use the affiliate's name or company name.If you looked at how SFI was built, it was built to replicate so that every new Affiliate that joins has a copy of the same page. So you can promote your SFI by doing the same if you can
You can automate your e-mail follow up tasks by installing your own auto-responder on your Web server. It would be better if you host the auto-responder yourself. This eliminates monthly fees for a separate auto-responder service.
With Your own site you can offer more training options for your team with ebooks, software, and special reports in a downloadable format. My up line does this often. You could borrow a leaf on more of this from the IAHBE membership site if you are a member.
You can send e-mail using your chosen domain name. e.g(yourdomain.com)
You can deliver sales on training messages by Providing an RSS feed from your site without needing someone's e-mail address. This helps you expand your reach to prospective customers.
You can setup a page for exchanging relevant links to other Websites. This could help you improve your search engine rankings, this would then increase the traffic arriving at your website.
If you are always being rejected by Facebook whenever you try to advertise, By copy/pasting some code, you can setup a Web page to redirect to another page, letting you "hide" long, awkward links with affiliate numbers that' are often rejected by many search engines and advertising places. Services such as tinyurl, goo.gl for Google etc will be very helpful in this
It is very possible for you to attractively frame your own SFI Gateways by setting up a page. People love beautiful Images and that's "sticky" traffic for your website.
Your own website makes your training information and tips easily available to your affiliates. You can chose to restrict access to certain tools by use of passwords or not. It's totally up to you.
Your own Website allows you to then join Traffic sites, safe-lists and other traffic exchanges for some free traffic.
Lastly you can add relevant audio, video, and other multimedia content to your site to improve the attractiveness and effectiveness of your offer. I find WordPress very compatible and easy to use for beginners. I learned most of what I know now from WordPress and you too can.
