It would be good and beneficial as well because language brings about communication without it everybody will be a dummie.

English is a general language for most people, but not all people can speak, write or read English. That is the more reason I say a big thank you to SFI President for making sure that all the contents of www.sfimg.com can be translated to all other languages other than English.

On the bottom right of the SFI website, you will see translate dropdown list where you can translate the English contents of SFI to other languages.

You can start a Topic too in your own language using the SFI forum. And trust me, you will see people that know how to write the language responding to your subject using that particular language.

I believe using your local language rather than English will help people from your destination to understand better what SFI business stands for.

There are pros and cons in creating separate forums and doing web seminars about SFI in languages other than English.

A lot of authors have written good and practical reasons why it is beneficial to have separate forums and web seminars about SFI in other languages.

However, SFI is a global business with English as the official language, and SFI Corporate has gone to a lot of trouble and expense to put translation facility in every page of SFI webpage.

All pages of the Homepage have Translate at the bottom of each page, where an affiliate can select the language he speaks and understands.

Even the Forum has a Translate facility for non-English speaking Affiliates and so they would be able to read and understand every posts written there.

If one wants to hold a webinar for his own team, that is his choice and he is free to organise it. After all, it's his business and doing a webinar for his affiliates who share his language is in his best interest.

I have a mixed reaction to this suggestion.

We already have a Forum where all affiliates can come together and express their innovative ideas and suggestions in the international language, English. If SFI starts Forums on linguistic basis, the ideas can be scattered and nobody will gain enough knowledge unlike the way we gain from our unique SFI Forum presently. Moreover, SFI is an international organization having millions of affiliates from all over the world. If they initiate to start Forums on affiliates’ language basis, then they will have to start innumerable Forums on the basis of languages and it is clearly a waste of time and effort.

Nevertheless, conducting web seminars on the basis of regional languages are a fantastic option to make the affiliates more determined and confident. If a leader can explain the dos’ and don’ts in their local language and the new ways to earn in the system, it will have a convincing effect on their efforts . Moreover, by conducting regional webinars on the basis of languages will instill more confidence in Affiliates and they can give more motivation to work towards their own growth and also for our beloved SFI.

If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.

For me, the language of friendship is not words but meanings.

Taking into account SFI already has a translation tool available for us to us in that regard, we should try learn to properly utilize it, that way we are ready and able to assist when new affiliates need assistance in another language.

Also, using applications, such as google translate, or other tools such as youtube SFI Introductory videos in other languages can help too. I have seen many useful videos already on youtube in different languages, im sure many are available if they were searched out. Some uplines within SFI also have introductory videos available in select languages, maybe asking some A2A friends via stream if they know of any resources they use might help, many are willing to provide very useful advice.

Creating a separate forum would cost more in terms of finances, and management resources. with whats already available to us, it might not seem very feasible, but trying other things that are cost effective, and already available to us by searching it out can assist with language barriers that may exist between you and your dowline team members.

Benefits of creating separate forum and doing web seminars about SFI:

- Speaking in your own mother tongue is a lot comfortable. You feel relax and can express easily what’s in your mind a very big advantage in communicating. The explaining would become simple as you speak with affiliates who speak your mother tongue.

- It saves time to convey your messages because everyone speaks the same language and will be easy to understand.

Disadvantages:

- Services of translator who are fluent in English and other languages are needed. Someone has to translate English to other languages and vice versa, so that communication would take place. SFI installed google translation service, so that every affiliate can understand the SFI concept. It is not perfect but if affiliate is passionate in SFI and has a strong desire to achieve his goal, he’ll find a way to succeed in this business.

- If everyone who doesn’t speak English would like to have this forums in their own mother tongue, it would require considerable amount of SFI resources (such as servers, personnel) dedicated to these forums alone.

yes, I think it's very useful to create a separate forum and do web seminars in other languages.
In fact,one of the Team Leaders in my upline has done that for his team mates that live in countries which were former parts of Yougoslavia.And he has done a really great job.It's always easier to read all we have to know to be successful in this business, in our primary language.We also have very helpful webinars on regular basis.
But you have to face it - there's a lot of work ahead of you, and I mean everydays work.If you really want to start that you have to do it properly and according to SFI rules.I believe it pays off.
So, in my opinion - just go for it!

It is always good business to try to accommodate as many people as possible. English is one of the worlds most spoken language and there are others. As much as it is possible, the forum serves the majority of affiliates. While their are those affiliates who do not speak English, according to the level of activity. Most affiliates can speak English.

While there is nothing wrong with a forum for non-english speaking affiliates, the current forum serves the need of the majority. Moreover, there are team leaders who do webinars and those who attend benefit. Most are English speaking. If affiliates who do not speak English need these services then I am sure that they will be provided. But as it is, most non-english speaking affiliates are not involved enough in the business to warrant the costs and time involved.

My answer to this question is yes. Sponsors can create a forum page specifically for people of the same country. Here people of same country that speaks the same language can feel at home and can brain storm about SFI, and easily share or exchange ideas. You can easily create this forum page using Facebook.

While English is a universal language not everyone specially from other countries can speak it or understand it fluently. There is always a risk in loosing the meaning during translation. Misunderstanding occurs and if an Affiliate stays confused he/she will lose the motivation. It's like when telling a joke. you must tell it just right, miss the punch line... nobody laughs and you lose your audience.

There is no harm in it in my opinion, it can only help. It is almost a must and duty for Sponsors to make a forum page or a web seminars for its members who speaks the same language.

For non-English speakers it might be a good idea to have translated SFI info in a nutshell and a forum to exchange advice and ideas in the respective language. However, it involves technical issues that can only be controlled and supported by SFI Management team.

I believe it is much more practical for Team leaders to run web seminars and a forum for their team in a language other than English, provided the team is big enough to justify the effort.

SFI offers a number of tools and methods that can inventively be applied for the purpose. As long as you don’t break the rules, you are free to devise your own ways of implementing them to the benefit of your team. Your business is your responsibility.
