How should I advise my ECAs on which products they should sell and what prices they should charge?

I can give my suggestions through email to my ECAs about sell and price of products. I know it very well that they have already decided what type of product they sell and set the price from their store in TripleClicks

But as per my experience I will suggest them to list

1) Variety products of daily use

2) Products relating to advertisement, traffic package, blog, website visitors

3) Products of amazing and rare pictures, wonderful greetings cards

In my opinion, products that people would need to buy every month is the best bet. This is especially so if you're targeting affiliates from your own country because they can choose for local pick up and forgo the cost of shipping.

I know that some feedback indicate that the prices in TripleClicks are higher. Try to advise your ECAs to target for number of sales rather than how much profit they make per sale. Reduce their listing price a bit (meaning reduce their profit slightly), especially

ECAs can sell what they wish as long as it falls in the guidelines of the business. It is important to research the competition and gage the demand of the market. Any type of quality business service would be welcomed as business demands solutions. So ECAs should offer services that will help internet marketers build their business.

A pricing strategy should match the offer. If you offer top products then you can get a premium for them. But if you offer mediocre products and services

Thats an excellent answer, thanks for bringing the topic out.

I do occasional cross comparison shopping. Meaning, I go through the ECA Mart, and Product lists in TripleClicks. I look at products from ECA listings and many other websites to see what the various price differences are. I have observed some lower, and some higher prices, some with no shipping, others with shipping costs at all.

If you are ECA yourself, you just share your experience.

The real question is what if you are not. In that case it is not realistic you can be their mentor in all fields.

What you can do, is to browse through TripleClicks and compare the ideas of your sponsored ECA with the overall offers in TC. That applies to offer format, discount offers and prices of similar products being sold by other ECA-s.

I actually had a negative experience with a new ECA I connected with.

The answer can be either wise. First you need to know whether they need your advice or not. Some ECAs might want to be independant and they may not like you interrupting them. So first learn about your ECA and then interact further.

If they are well enough good with their own ideas and satisfy you, just leave them to be themselves.

If they seek your idea, first you need to know what products they are capable of displaying and go on with them.

Hi Sharon,

I am of the view that it is not part of your business to advise your ECAs which products to sell and what prices they should charge. I hardly know how any outfit can be rightly called an ECA if they do not know what to sell and even the prices to charge for their products. I believe you may be stepping out of line if you make these assumptions. This is because it is possible that many ECAs may be very experienced e-commerce business outfits and many may even be more experienced

A great question and probably one which a lot of us ask ourselves. Here is what I do.

In the first instance I go through my house and sell anything that I think might be interesting to my prospective customers and which I have not used for some time and obviously no longer need it myself. The item need not be new but must be in good condition. I then check the new price and divide it by at least 4. This is the price I will then advertise it for. If it is listed for say one

I think it is better to have :-

1. Common products with low cost and high Versa Points and CV.

2. Avoid shipping charges

3. Provide ocal payment facilities

4. Best service with proper response from the ECA.

5. Should properly handle negative reviews if any.

6. Provide discounts and intimate the SFI affiliates in the to do list.

7. Every day display one item on deal with low cost.
